Wow! The best season premiere this year so far as far as I'm concerned (yes, beating Buffy). A truly great episode with lots of surprises (I won't ruin).

The Angel premiere was fast-paced and fun.
I love it when we the viewers have to fill in the blanks as to how characters have changed during their three month period "offscreen".

Fred/Gunn became vamp-fighting foster parents.
Wesley became one twisted mofo on a mission.
Lila deciding to promote herself because W&F apparently did nothing all summer.
Lorne is now a Vegas Big Cheese.
Angel lost his mind and hallucinated for 3 months.
Connor didn't change much at all.
And Cordy with the last/best line of all in an often hilarious episode from start to finish.
Oh and don't piss off Fred! Damn!!

I forgot to mention the end line...absolutely *perfect* and I was laughing for quite a while.
