Ok, so I looked into putting the release date on the shirt. The good news is you can add it yourself. Click on "customize" above and to the right of the picture, and you can add anything you want to the back. Here's what mine looks like -

and what if we want just the opposite, text on front, poster on back????

How about having a version where the poster is in the back and then on the front, where the pocket is, you have the Serenity patch? Just a thought.

ooh! That's some fine art work! I'm gonna get a poster for my living room. It can go next to StarWars. :} (I'm a geek, oh yes, I am)

I think I need a t-shirt too... and my baby browncoat needs a t-shirt. hmmm.

I ordered mine too...had the "In Theatres Spring 2005" put on the back...this is gonna be cool! Did any one get a different color besides white? I thought about getting the ivory one, but was worried about the color being too dark, without seeing the shirt in person first. If anyone gets one, tell me how it looks, cause I've got an idea for a Firefly shirt, but it really, really needs an "antique" look, and the ivory would be great.

I've added some more shirt designs due to the feedback here. Tell me what you think!

Great design, as I said before.

Query: Someone upthread ordered one with full poster on front and "In theatres in Spring 2005" on the back. But now that's gone. Or is it? I'm confused. I'd like to order this one. I've already ordered another design (Serenity logo on front, poster on back).

Thanks very much, Tiger.

The text is something you can add yourself by clicking on the "Customize" button. You can add whatever text or images you want to either side of the shirt. Basically, you can just add some text, or create the entire shirt from scratch.

I created two shirts, one with the front blank, and one with the back blank, so people can add whatever they want.

Yup, I finally figured it out, thanks to your tips. :-)

Ordered two, but, my, the cost adds up when you're paying $9 US in shipping and converting the whole thing into Cdn dollars. My shirts are going to be
$35 and $40 Cdn. That's approaching the cost of a designer t-shirt here in Toronto.

But. I. Must. Have.
