I had meant to start a new thread, but this might be a good place to broach this subject:
The international Bank of Settlements. In Bozill Switzerland.
The highest level of bank in the world, all Central Banks are under it, every nation.
This is the bank forcing digital currency upon everybody, for the aim of controlling everybody's social conduct, like China has been. If you say an offensive word, they will delete your funds.
Seems our only defense right now is Trump, who reportedly refuses to succumb to this. But this will be the future for everybody before I die.

I know about the theories surrounding it. Not about the apparatus that will be used.
In my mind, even worse than being able to strip you of your "allowance" for saying wrongthink online or in public is the idea of digital currency with an expiration date.
Once they do that to us, no individual will ever be able to get ahead with hard work again.
I'm sure there will spring up a huge underground network of bartering work/items if this happens, but that will always be under attack by the people in charge.
If we go to digital currency, they will literally have complete control of every life on an individual level. This is something that even with all the technology available to us today is impossible otherwise, because of how much it would cost to monitor and control every person. But because everything will be automated with the currency and AI, controlling people's behavior by controlling exactly how much they have in their wallet will be virtually free for them. In fact, they could just really abuse the hell out of this power and eventually just squeeze us all dry and they'll end up all of the money.
Think about the people who are on EBT right now that actually really need it. Nobody on either side of the aisle is thinking about them at all right now. What the people who are actually going to go hungry for a while now if they don't resort to stealing and robbing are going through right now is what EVERYBODY will be going through when we're all walking around with a CredStick full of fake currency with an expiration date.
That new gas meter I got a few months ago? Not only was that a replacement for the old bad one that stopped transmitting the usage data, but they've let their customers know that they can instantly turn off the gas remotely without needing a tech to come out to do it.
Why is that a feature, and why are they so boldly proclaiming this new ability they've given themselves? Maybe I say something online and somebody doxxes me and my power company decides they don't want to provide heat to somebody who thinks differently than they do?
And they've already got me with the insulin and the health insurance anyhow...
Say no. Always say no to digital currency and explain to anybody younger why we need to always fight against that if it ever comes up. Digital Currency will remove any remaining sense of freedom and self-determination we have left. Digital Currency will be the slavery of mankind.

I like the idea of that, but I don't believe so.
There are a lot of folk out there who aren't smart enough to weigh out theoreticals like this, even if you explained it to them. So if what you're suggesting was part of a plan, a big part of that had better be connecting those dots and hammering that point home again and again until people get it.
It's all about timing too. When would you start that messaging?
Even though the shutdown isn't finalized, they've already re-instituted food stamps (at least I believe that I heard this is the case, I don't have them so I can't verify).
So you had a captivated audience that probably would have been extremely receptive to warnings about digital currency and the correlations of what they're going through now and what everybody could end up going through if we are ever forced to make the switch. But it would have been foolish and in extremely bad taste for Trump or somebody else to be saying shit like that and using a few tens of millions of people who were actually seriously stressing about finances this month as examples.
But they've got their food now. They probably aren't going to listen anymore.

I'd also reckon that offline, in the real world, a decent majority of Americans have never even heard of CDBCs yet, and of those that do there are quite a few who couldn't ever wrap their heads around the concept of digital currency if the idea were presented to them. We've got so much shit and worry and stress in our heads these days, none of these people even want to know about that stuff until it becomes an issue that everyone is talking about, and most of them are just going to immediately fold, do what they're told and just go with the flow.
How am I going to be an Optimist about this?
I guess the good news is that even though I'm sure the financial pain that we've been going through as a nation will continue to worsen for the rest of our lives, this means that we will have more opportunities in the future to put little fear reminders inside people's minds with similar problems popping up more and more frequently and when some politicians try seriously pushing digital currency, hopefully there are people in office and campaigning that will be reminding everyone about those problems and connecting the dots for them at that time.
That is assuming any of them are actually even connecting those dots we've connected here, of course.
You'd probably not be very amazed at how much things you never even think about when you're loaded.

Sure, some will forget the day after they shop. Or get their drugs.
But this week is the realization of how dependent they are and the level of anxiety and concern.
If reminded in a few months, most should be able to remember and comprehend the context.

This was the reason I broached the subject on Saturday.
This is about The International Bank of Settlements, forcing this upon the entire world. USA is apparently the only nation not already falling into this. Because The Trump is not allowing it, so far. He seems to be our only protection.
I did not post the above story as an outlier. It is merely a black and white example of exactly what is going on worldwide, if not yet fully implemented.
That is the entire world in the coming years. And then USA.

Autopen's FY25 budget was for TWO TRILLION Dollars of extra debt. The Trump trimmed it down a little bit. But that is for the whole year. April is the month of greatest Revenues, most other months are deficit months.

Look how they managed to get both sides to rage about the Epstein Files for different reasons and then make everybody pretty much forget about them completely for different reasons. I really don't know what the answer is. If things get too bad at some point, people are bound to buy whatever bullshit anybody is selling, so the point is only going to be made if the pain is somewhat mild and somewhat brief. And even then, it all goes out the window if shit really does hit the fan one day and we're not just running test exercises like this.
