Calling all SOBs (Southwestern Ohio Browncoats)!

A few of us are trying to plan an informal gathering of Firefly fans in the Cincinnati/Northern KY area.

After some discussion, we're leaning toward Saturday, September 25th, at Woodland Mound Park, starting around noon.

Anyone interested in joining us? There's four of us available so far, with TenthCrewMember offering to make up a couple tee-shirts to give away as door prizes.

Eats and drinks would be BYO, with the one restriction that, since this is a county park, no alcohol is allowed.

I also plan on bringing a laptop (hope I can find an outlet as my battery is only good for a couple of hours) and DVDs to play our favorite episodes!

Just another bump, for those as not seen it yet.

We're getting a good response from this and the post on the BDB. Folk coming up from as far south as Lexington, KY. Should be a good crowd and a good time, but we can always use more to make us merrier!

ROFL! Would you believe me if I told you it was simply 'trial and error'? Seriously though, believe it or not, I have only been doing this sort of thing since I joined FFF.net back in mid-July. So it is just a matter of taking HOURS and HOURS of tinkering with my Paint Shop to get them done...and I always think they're never quite right (At least half of 'em I retouched after posting! LOL).

Anywho, I'll be glad to talk about it, of course. :)

PAINT SHOP?? You're getting images like that from PAINT SHOP??? Man, I can't imagine what you'd turn out if you upgrade to Photoshop. Or at least Photoshop Elements. I have the latter, and I still can't turn out a decent image. Man, I suck!

Hiyas!!! Thought i'd post a hello in this thread; This is Sarah, i ran into a bunch of you fellow browncoats at the Wizardworld Chicago ComicCon Convention. I'm so excited that there are people from this cracie state that actually like Firefly, most people i know just go "huh." :) Looking forward to joining you guys at the shindig (i live in Cincinnati!).
