There's got to be an agreeable happy middle in there somewhere.

You don't want to be giving overwhelming power to either side of that equation.

A pure number of zip codes per rep would be outrageously under-representing people in urban areas. A pure population solution (close to what we have now, minus all of the racial gerrymandering) still gives a strikingly unfair balance against the residents of the entire rest of the Blue states who automatically lose out to Dems because of the urban population centers making all of the laws they are forced to abide but would never vote in favor of if given the chance.

I don't know what the exact solution should be, but I do enjoy this little thought experiment. Especially since it's probably going to be Reality less than a year from now since Democrats forced this losing issue because they are stupid.

10 times out of 10 the Democrats walk away from this a loser in the current climate, just from sheer virtue that they're going to now lose all that racial gerrymandering they've spent decades building up. That's gone one way or another now before the midterm election if it really does go to Scotus and is settled by June.

I honestly have no idea what their thought process is right now, and I have a hunch that its because none of them do either.

I had an idea about this. Probably not related to my earlier post.
I have not fully fleshed out the details, and won't have time for several days at least. But I'll point out some things, so they can marinate.

Sidenote: I had planned to list each, or most, state with Party split in statewide elections, and party split in CDs. That one idiot said AR had 30% Libtard voters, so should have at least one seat out of the state, but MA and MD would not be possible to make a conservative/originalist seat.
In DC, a margin of 56.5% for Libtards suggests about 21% R to 78% D. Redistricting so that 21% is in a CD with 12% of the D voters would make a Seat that GOP could win, or at least become competitive.
Kamala got 37% in UT. Trump got 34% in MD, and 36% in MA. Trump got 44% in IL. MA has 9 Seat, so about 11% per District. Proportionally, 3 seats should be won by GOP. With gerrymandering spreading Trump's 36% equally across 6 Districts, each would get 6% of the state's GOP vote, and 5% of the Libtards, making 6 House Seats from MA leaning conservative.
Anyhow...

To recap the gerrymandering concept, so we are on the same page:
Urban cities are Libtard concentrations. Rural areas are more conservative (unless Native American) - the real world. This applies almost everywhere. Exceptions might be Orange County CA - it used to be conservative, not sure about now. San Duego used to lean conservative, before they made it Nuevo Tijuana. I'd like to hear about other exceptions - what large cities are not full of Libtard voters?

So, If a City has more than 800K population, that could be a Congressional District, and what Libtards claim they want: constituents who are all black and can vote for a black representative - as long as they are Libtard.
