Wash: (tyen shiao duh) God knows what literally: sky knows)

Now, you wouldn't think that they would have the characters actually use the correct intonations for those utterances, do ya?

I would hate to think that they would just plain murder how they are said. It would be the equivalent of some foreigner coming to the US and randomly spew curses and exclamations like some Tourette S. patient. (of course, no offense to the FFFans who are afflicted with Tourette S.)

oh well, just thinking aloud.

BTW, why wouldn't the caption people use one of the (at least) 6 romanization system instead of inventing up their own? I would say maybe Wade-Giles or one of the 2 major pinyin system would work... of course, it's always NIH!
