You need to take a long, hard look in the mirror and see if there's even a shred of a decent person left in there.

I don't believe that anybody is completely irredeemable, but you are a near-decade long case study that is proving the opposite of my initial expectations when starting this little experiment.

6ix and Signym talk like post-Civil War Confederates who were convinced the Union was wrong for imposing its values on the South. Why couldn't Lincoln just leave things to work out naturally, gradually, with slavery eventually fading away in a few centuries? It is an easy mindset for Americans who cannot recognize evil until it punches them hard in the face.

Lincoln had more struggle with his own side than with Confederates. Lincoln's general, George B. McClellan, was very diffident about pursuing the evil Confederates. McClellan even ran for President against Lincoln because he believed Lincoln was too aggressive against the Confederates who were merely protecting their state's rights and fighting for the freedom to live happily, which required owning slaves.

When Lincoln's vice-President and former slave-owner took over, he set about undoing what Lincoln had achieved. President Andrew Johnson couldn't see what was evil about the Confederate slave-owners because he had the same defective value system as the Southerners had.

Which brings us to today, where Trumptards can no more see what is evil about Trump than certain Northerners such as Lincoln's vice-President Andrew Johnson and General George B. McClellan could see what was evil in their own century. Democrats such as Biden and Harris let Trump's evil loose on America because evil didn't punch them in the face hard enough to get Biden's and Harris's full attention.

Harris refused to separate herself from Joe Biden’s unconscionable support for genocide in Gaza, and she put forward an economic platform that often devolved into a standard litany of milquetoast measures to uphold a starkly unequal status quo—from her squishiness on antitrust enforcement to her pandering to the crypto industry.

I won't tell the Trumptards the truth that I smell what they have been doing in their spare time.
