Meanwhile, Kamala has a -12.3 spread in favorability, and she's barely begun to speak in public.

Bring it on, buddy.

Alright. I've got shit to do. No more time for you dummies today.

Since it appears Ted rarely posts in the evenings or at night, I guess I'll see you tomorrow buddy.

Hopefully Kamala doesn't fuck things up too bad for you in the meantime.

Have a nice day!

Somewhere back in another thread (the 2024 thread IIRC) I predicted that Kamala would get a "bounce" from reflexive Dem voters who were distressed about voting for a senile candidate.

What you're seeing is RELIEF.

SIX, from now until November, Kamala isn't going to have a single unscripted moment.

If "they' could wedge Joe in as candidate in 2020 and portray him as "the adult in the room" to millions of voters, and successfully puppeteer him for fours years (including the runup to 2020) they think they can probably puppeteer Kamala. Unless she fucks up her script, nobody will see the real Kamala.

JOE'S FAILURES WILL BE BURIED WITH HIM, HER RECORD WILL BE EXPUNGED. Nobody will know her real intended policies - bc they won't be hers. (She's not smart enough to have any. In that way, she's the perfect puppet, just like van der Crazy and 360 degrees Baerbock).

What she will do is promise the Dem platform (which is entirely fake), her ads will be framed as "the prosecuting attorney versus the convicted felon", and enough people may buy it to bring manipulated poll numbers high enough to make a "win" plausible.

If anyone attacks her she'll bring out the race and sex card.

The only hitch in this is Kamala herself: can she deliver her lines convincingly enough so that she doesn't sound like a fifth grader lecturing second graders? Bc that, IMHO, is her greatest weakness: she SOUNDS SIMPLE, AND DISINGENUOUS AS HELL.

I'm sure the Trump campaign is strategizing how to deal with her, but, honest to God, Trump would have been far better off selecting Tulsi Gabbard as his VP instead of Vance.

I'm sure he was still undecided when he was shot, but IMHO he reacted emotionally and Vance is a big FU to "them", but not a strategic pick, since he already appeals to Trump's base.

If Trump is smart, he'll get women to campaign for him, and not known conservatives. If it were me I'd start with Tulsi, even if I had to offer her a cabinet post like Scy State to do it.

None of this matters, tho. Russia will win in Ukraine,China will continue to pick up the economic pieces. The government will continue to hemorrhage money, and the BRICS will increasingly bypass the dollar.

But what do I know?

Poof! GovTrack Scrubs Kamala Harris 'Most Liberal' Senator Ruling From 2019
Thursday, Jul 25, 2024 - 12:45 PM

It's amazing to watch the real-time memory holing going on with Kamala Harris.

On Wednesday, we noted that the media (and how House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries) pushed the lie that Harris wasn't actually Biden's 'border czar' - pretending that she had no responsibility for one of the top voter concerns.

Not only did mainstream publications refer to Harris as the 'czar,' she was pressed on why she hasn't visited the border.

Now, GovTrack - which tracks the voting records of House and Senate lawmakers, has scrubbed a 2019 analysis which ranked then-Sen. Harris as the "most liberal" US Senator.

As Just the News notes, the page was scrubbed "at some point between the evening of July 8 Eastern time and July 23 of this year."

The original link to the page leads to a “Page Not Found” error. The last person to share the link to the original on X without noting its removal was mid-afternoon Wednesday.

The website rated Harris the “most liberal compared to all senators” in 2019. Harris became vice president in January 2021.

Fact check: Is Kamala Harris the most liberal member of the Senate?

After six years as California’s attorney general, Harris was elected to the US Senate in 2016. Since then, she has co-sponsored bills aligned with several liberal causes including expanding gun control measures and passing “Medicare for All.” Harris has also voted against many Trump nominees for federal judgeships and top positions inside his administration.

In 2019, GovTrack, a non-partisan organization that tracks bills in Congress, ranked Harris as the “most liberal compared to All Senators.” One measure the organization uses is comparing how many bipartisan bills each senator cosponsors to how many bills they co-sponsored in total. Harris had the lowest at 15% in 2019.

For some reason, Harris won't vote to approve Trump-selected appointees who are lying-sacks-of-shit.

I agree with the entire post, but this part is the standout.

I didn't agree with the Vance pick, and the only reason that it happened was hubris after the assassination attempt. I really wish he picked Tulsi too. Unless I'm proven wrong about it, Vance is his greatest weakness after they swapped Joe* out, regardless of who they're going to run against now.

Harris dropped out of the primary race in December of 2019 because she ran out of donors and money when there were 6 more debates to follow (7 were scheduled, actually, but they cancelled the 12th debate).

There were 15 other candidates still in the primary race when Harris dropped out. Including Crazy Crystal Lady who still had enough money and donors to continue on with her campaign at the time.

The only reason Harris was picked as VP was because Biden* said he wouldn't pick anybody other than a black female and she got the lucky spot.

She's an 80 IQ retard.

They will find a reason to pick someone else at the convention.

Funny you bring that up, because it's been scrubbed. The cover-up is on.

And mindless goons like you just lap it all up.

"License to steal": Donald Trump's history of fraud emerges as a new threat with SCOTUS decision
Journalist Joe Conason warns about Republican grifting in his new book "The Longest Con"

By Amanda Marcotte | July 25, 2024

Donald Trump is a fraud and a con artist. This isn't an opinion, but an adjudicated fact, proved by

1) a New York court that found Trump liable for nearly half a billion dollars for his decades of business fraud.

2) Or another court, which accepted Trump's settlement of $25 million for years of defrauding customers of his fake "Trump University."

3) Or the jury in Trump's criminal case, which convicted him on 34 felony charges for defrauding voters by paying hush money to an adult film actress.

What can still be hard to wrap one's mind around, however, is how a man so shamelessly criminal, who openly treats his supporters like wallets to be picked, is the GOP nominee for the third presidential election in a row. But perhaps it's not so surprising, argues Joe Conason. In his new book, "The Longest Con: How Grifters, Swindlers, and Frauds Hijacked American Conservatism," the journalist and editor-in-chief at The National Memo traces the long marriage between right-wing politics and con artistry. Trump is no anomaly in this history, but the natural result of decades of snake oil salesmen bamboozling the Republican base for political gain and profit.

Conason spoke with Salon about why this history matters for the 2024 election.

This interview has been edited for length and clarity.

We have the Supreme Court's immunity decision. Donald Trump keeps making violent threats and promising retribution. With Project 2025, he's going full fascist. In the pantheon of terrible things about him, one of the least alarming things to most people is that he's a criminal and a fraud. The fraud case he lost fell off most people's radars because everything else about him feels so scary. So why should people care about the fraud angle?

It's all part of a larger whole, right? This is a hugely dishonest person who can't be trusted with the presidency.
