Better pay them less.
Nobody asked for or wants a Running Man remake. Especially not with Hollywood's current track record for remakes.
That being said, if they do it right there is no reason a Running Man remake couldn't be an improvement on the original or couldn't make enough money to justify its existence. The original is a classic, but it wasn't a great movie. The budget was super low and they maximized what little they had to get the job done and done well.
Has Hollywood learned any of those lessons yet?
I dunno. They haven't learned to stop trying to cash in on old properties when so many of them end up in failure. I guess we'll find out if they learned any of the other lessons.

Oh cool. We can look to them ruining Running Man with a pointless remake too.
That scene in the original when they killed a guy and put Arnold in his place to make it look like he died on national TV has always stuck with me.
That was sci-fi back in the mid 80's. It's just what people with expensive computers do from home when they're bored today.
