Wrong again, Ted.
Trump is innocent.
That's while he'll be fine.
As I keep saying Jack. You aren't smart or honest enough to give any of this serious thought.
Plenty of serious thought on my end. There's just not going to be any serious conversations with idiots like you about it, Ted.
I've had to listen to your fantasies on this board since 2016, and they never come true. Ever.
You are beyond stupid.
98% of what I post in these threads are not opinion pieces. It comes directly from legitimate, established and well regarded news outlets.
That's the problem right there. You have no critical thinking skills and you mistake propaganda for news. You don't have a single actual opinion on anything, Ted. You live a life where you let others tell you what to think and how to act.
I pity people like you most of the time. Unfortunately, I've had to listen to your bullshit for years now and I'm all out of pity for you.
And if you're so smart, Mr. College Educated Guy, then why haven't you retired already?
Oh... right. Because you're a life-long wage slave. How was work today, honey? It's been so long since I've been to work I forgot what having a boss was like. I know I didn't care much for it, but it's perfect for somebody like you who loves being told what to think and how to act.

Unlike you I earned a 4 year degree Jack. I look at your post and it is like your other posts. It’s nothing but misguided, desired assumptions. It represents what you want to be true, not what is. I, unlike you, gather information from many sources. Information that can be verified. You, get your information from, well, nowhere. You either make it up, repeat conspiracy theories, or post lies you hear from disreputable sources. You also respond using the same techniques Signym uses. Whataboutism and fallacy of relative privation dummy. When people use either of these techniques it is because they can’t mentally compete.
I create threads based on what I believe will happen. They are based on researched or observed information, like behaviors. You create threads based on emotion, anger and hate. My opinions, like Trump is going to be impeached and indicted happened just as I said they would. You kept posting they would not happen. So, I ask you Jack, who has critical thinking skills, you or I?

Trump had some documents? Well, Hillary had 33,000 emails that she erased (like with a cloth?) and the FBI was so anxious not to see them, all of Hillary's aides smart phones that might have had some copies on them were ordered destroyed... like with a hammer. Don't even get me started on the box of Hillary's Whitewater documents that mysteriously disappeared during the investigation and mysteriously reappeared the day after the investigation ended, and Vince Foster's convenient suicide and Seth Rich's convenient murder.
Why doesn't the DOJ, FBI, and CIA crawl up Hillary's and Biden's* ass?? Like, with an auger?
SECOND; In Moscow...
OMFG! Is "Russia!!Russia!TRUMP!!" the red herring you drag across every criticism of your beloved, astonishingly corrupt DNC/FBI/CIA complex???
You're so gorram obvious.
WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT GOSSIP IN RUSSIA?
What about OUR country, OUR existence, OUR problems? Apparently you don't give a fuck about all that bc you do everything in your power to distract every time someone shines a spotlight on the things that squirm around in the dark in DC.![]()
In case you don't click the link, here is a quote from page 21 of the Trump indictment:
54. On May 23, 2022, TRUMP met with Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 2 at The Mar-a-Lago Club to discuss the response to the May 11 Subpoena. Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 2 told TRUMP that they needed to search for documents that would be responsive to the subpoena and provide a certification that there had been compliance with the subpoena. TRUMP, in sum and substance, made the following statements, among others, as memorialized by Trump Attorney 1:
a. I don’t want anybody looking, I don’t want anybody looking through my boxes, I really don’t, I don’t want you looking through my boxes.
b. Well what if we, what happens if we just don’t respond at all or don’t play ball with them?
c. Wouldn’t it be better if we just told them we don’t have anything here?
d. Well look isn’t it better if there are no documents?
What's interesting to me is not the obvious obstruction of justice, which we know is a core part of the indictment, but Trump's obsession toward "my boxes." His sense of possession is palpable. Even though he knows better, he's convinced they are "my" boxes and he wants to keep them all to himself.
It continues to be a mystery why he felt this way.
My wife says she knows the answer: Trump is a wackadoodle and he just does weird, unexplainable stuff. Maybe that's all it is.

Quote:The choice by Republican leaders, and even almost all of his 2024 rivals for the Republican presidential nomination, to unreservedly defend Trump after he was indicted earlier this year by the Manhattan district attorney helped the former president to widen his lead in primary polls. The roar of outrage from Republican leaders to that indictment restored Trump’s grip on the party after frustration over his role in the GOP’s disappointing 2022 midterm elections had loosened it.

But since last week’s disclosure that Trump faces another criminal indictment – this one federal, over his handling of highly classified documents – the party leadership and 2024 field has almost entirely replicated that deferential approach.
Repeating the pattern from other moments of maximum threat to Trump, the GOP response has been marked by a pronounced communications imbalance. From House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, Trump’s supporters have loudly supported his claims that he is being persecuted by the left.
Simultaneously, with only a few conspicuous exceptions like second-tier presidential contenders Chris Christie and Asa Hutchinson, the most Trump’s critics in the party have been willing to do is remain silent and not validate his vitriolic charges. Apart from those two former governors, just a short list of prominent Republicans – including former Trump administration senior officials William Barr and John Bolton, and Senate Minority Whip John Thune – have pushed back at all against Trump’s claim that he is being hunted by “lunatic,” “deranged” and “Marxist” prosecutors, or publicly expressed misgivings about the underlying behavior detailed in the federal indictment against him.
By refusing to confront Trump or his enraged defenders more directly, the Republicans who want the party to move beyond him in 2024 may be stitching their own straitjacket. The nearly indivisible GOP defense of Trump has once again created a situation in which a controversy that is weakening Trump with the broader electorate is strengthening his position inside the GOP coalition.

Quote:Historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat, who studies authoritarian leaders, sees more than tactical political maneuvering in the choice by so many Republicans to again immediately lock arms around Trump despite the powerful evidence detailed in last week’s indictment. Such deference is “completely consistent” with the behavior across the world of “autocratic parties” under the thrall of “a leader cult,” says Ben-Ghiat, author of the 2020 book, “Strongmen: Mussolini to the Present.”

The closest recent parallel she sees to the GOP’s behavior might be how the Forza Italia party remained in lockstep for years behind former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi throughout multiple trials (and even convictions) for corruption and sexual misconduct, amplifying his claims that he was the victim of a vast conspiracy and “witch hunt.” For leaders like Trump or Berlusconi (who died at 86 on Monday) such legal challenges, she says, actually become a “juncture” to strengthen their dominance by demanding that others publicly defend their behavior – no matter how indefensible. In that way, the leader establishes personal loyalty to him as the one true litmus test for belonging to the party. (The Republican decision to replace a party platform in 2020 with a brief statement declaring it would “enthusiastically support” Trump’s agenda, she notes, marked an important milestone in that transition.)
“If you stay in the party it’s either you have to be supporting Trump or face the consequences,” says Ben-Ghiat, who teaches at New York University. “You could be even running against him, but you have to adhere to the party line: the weaponization by the deep state. That’s the sad and dangerous part among many dangers we face. Even those people are stuck within this narrative world and this party line and their targets are the same as Trump’s.”

Fuck you dude.
If everything was sunshine and rainbows under the current regime, or any time that Democrats were running the show, we wouldn't even be talking about Trump right now.
Right now it's clownworld out there. Dudes with boobs going topless at the White House when they're not recruiting kids at schools. Cops unable to enforce the law while criminals are treated like victims. Merit means nothing anymore. The economy sucks and is getting worse. International relationships are worse than they've ever been in most living American's lives.
You're the one in a fucking cult.
Prove me wrong. Tell me you don't approve of dudes with boobs having 6 year old girls rubbing up on their junk.

Quote:This has happened before. In the 1930's the Republicans were saying that international relationships were fine with Germany . . . until the Democrats ruined EVERYTHING! Same with Japan. The Republicans blamed the Democrats for the Japanese invading China. Blamed FDR for Pearl Harbor, too! As for FDR's New Deal, the Republicans were enraged by Social Security. It is a new tax and so unfair to the white working-class man and to business owners. The New Deal was worse than Communism! As for morals, the Republicans raged against all these divorces people were having. And the Repeal of Prohibition enraged the Republicans. If there had been no Repeal, someone we know wouldn't have been an alcoholic, so blame the Democrats for someone's alcoholism.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued a proclamation regarding the new Twenty-first Amendment, confiding his trust in the American people that they would “not bring upon themselves the curse of excessive use of intoxicating liquors to the detriment of health, morals, and social integrity.”

Quote:I disapprove. Why? From where I am, the people in the lower echelons of American society (you are near the bottom, 6ix, with the worthless life you and Trump have lived) look like they have frequent lapses and fitful periods of self-control and less than zero self-awareness of why their lives have gone wrong and are purposeless and meaningless. Some of the lower echelons use religion to fake the appearance of purpose and meaning. Others join the Trumptards or endlessly work on home/lawn/garden/health-fitness improvements, but they, too, are fakers. And still others get intoxicated, giving up on purpose and meaning.
