Luckily I didn't go on the website. Unfortunately I did read that post.

Like I said before, it could be true, but I have a feeling that Joss would change the ending if it is...and it might be much worse than what was said just to teach us a lesson for looking. O_O;;

I think Joss has mentioned that there'll be less goats, a singing grapefruit, and River will turn out to be the reincarnation of Ginger Spice. Make of that what you will.

If you're talking about the IMDb message I think you're talking about, I'm holding out the hope that it is false - just cause I don't want the guy to have the satisfaction.

We all know Joss hates spoilers, and I'm going with the false spoiler theory.

BTW - I was totally PO'd the poster did NOT use "spoiler" in his post originally. I saw the post - got a bit spoiled and then responded that he'd better use spoiler in the topic line. Got a bit snippy with someone later in the thread as well, but too bad!

The topic line has been changed. But I haven't seen any additional posts by the guy.

Actually I really hope that we can keep spoilers in a designated area, and not spread throughout this board....

This is the best of all Firefly boards and I would hate to have to give it up because spoilers start to pop up all over the place; I don't know if there are any 'real' spoilers out yet, but there will be...some one in makeup or in lighting will get ahold of a script, and long before April the whole story will be available online...
but I will be fighting to the end trying to remain completely unspoiled so that Joss can surprise me!

I totally agree about that - I really want to stay unspoiled about this movie. I've gone both the spoiled & unspoiled route - but US is better. Especially with Joss.

That's why I was such a total *itch about it over at IMDb. I'll probably be staying away from there from now on... da*m Reavers!

Yeah, I have this tendency (a very common one among the nerdly crowd, certainly) to want to know every damn thing about anything I'm interested in. Before Fellowship of the Ring came out, I watched every making-of feature they posted to the web, 'cause I was fascinated with the whole thing and that's all I had of it. As a consequence, the first time I watched it I knew WAYYY too much about the technical aspects to get lost in it.

Since then, I've sworn two things:
A) I will not make a "technical pass" on a movie until at least the 2nd time through, preferably the third.
B) I will restrain my natural urge to learn as much as possible and go in fresh, every time. When there's a trailer, mark my words, I will watch it at least once a day. Probably more than that. But I will not seek spoilers.

Just say NO!
