Three of the victims Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Xana Kernodle lived at the house, while the fourth victim, Ethan Chapin, was there sleeping over with his girlfriend on the night of the attacks.

Two of the four victims, Chapin and Kernodle, were earlier at an on-campus party at the Sigma Chi fraternity from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. They returned home at 1:45 a.m. The other two victims, lifelong best friends Mogen and Goncalves, had gone together to a downtown sports bar called The Corner Club at 10 p.m. Saturday evening, which they left at 1:30 a.m. A livestream video from a nearby food truck showed Mogen and Goncalves at the truck at 1:41 a.m., chatting and smiling, getting their food 10 minutes later, and leaving to take what the police initially said was an Uber ride home, only for the police to rephrase their statement later and say that the ride was from a "private party."
No suspects or motives have been announced, and there have not been any arrests. The police have however ruled out: (a) a man wearing a white hoodie seen in the video footage speaking to Mogen and Goncalves by the food truck; (b) the person who drove Mogen and Goncalves home; (c) the two surviving roommates, who were home during the killings; and (d) the police do not believe that Goncalves' former longtime boyfriend Jack Ducoeur, whom she and Mogen had called a total of ten times that night, was connected to the killings. The authorities have left open the possibility that there could be more than one perpetrator

From social media pix they seem to be normal students, maybe some booze but they don't look crazy and don't look like the party type out of their mind on drink and drugs. Some online suggest messing around social with a drug dealer and stole drugs but their pix don't look like the crazy drug user type.
The Sisterhoods or fraternity had some famous names over the years, from the Girls Sorority I see names like First Lady Barbara Bush, Sue Grafton Murder Mystery Detective Novelist, 1986 Miss America, Laurie Monnes Anderson Senator, Actress Jennifer Garner, Ambassador Eugenia Moore Anderson, writer Margaret Truman daughter of Harry Truman, Tracie Ruiz, Savannah Guthrie NBC News Co-Anchor, Valerie Plame Spy Novelist.
The male or mens Fraternity seems to have groups at Fresno State University, Oregon State University, University of Minnesota had had been accused of illegal firearms, illegal supply of alcohol to minors and 'hazing' but nothing in past news about Idaho.

Russell Ballard, Theodore M. Burton and some Canadian church leaders and leaders of the EpiscopalChurch.
These killings happened straight above the two surviving girls bedrooms, but they didn't got alerted by the noise.
