Somehow I got a completely different impression of your symptoms
Sorry about that. Whatever you caught, your immune system tackled it hard. Still, more typical of massive exposure via GI tract, not a nasal passage exposure and successive spread to throat and lungs and from there to the rest of the body. I wouldn't be surprised if your LADA originated then, but from what is still IMHO up in the air. So to speak!

At this point, given that the latest variants are no more consquential than the parent Omicron variant, I don't see a reason for another vaccine. Not even for people like me.

*****

Yeah, well, hooray for modern medicine. I KNOW there are things out there that will cure people - APO lipoprotein A variant, "like Drano for the veins"- but they prefer to keep ppl on statins forever.

My buddy and his family are going to his wife's sorority sister's house for Superbowl today. We were going to get together like last year, but his wife's friend's husband probably isn't going to make it to the next one.

He was fine before he got his covid shots. Then he needed to be put on dialysis. She was a stay at home mom with 2 kids, and she's had to go back to work while he's rotted away over the last 3 years.

Thanks, Joe Biden*.

We'll figure out a way to get Fauci for what he did even though you've protected him.

You should have protected yourself because I'm fine taking you down instead.

And you got LADA and you DIDN'T get the shot.

And I was dx'd with cancer and an often fatal autoimmune disease (if the disease doesn't get you, the treatment just might) and I DID get the shot. But I was dx'd with both BEFORE the vaccine.

I know there are a lot of reasons to be pissed about how Covid was handled, and, honestly,I think you LIKE to be angry

But sometimes shit just happens and there's nothing to be angry about.

Not this time.

That's the second friend of my friend's who has been murdered by Joe Biden*'s unconstitutional OSHA mandate.

I'm not saying you're wrong. It sometimes happens.

From VAERS data

Acute kidney injury after COVID-19 vaccines: a real-world study
... First, the incidence rate cannot be calculated because the total number of patients receiving vaccinations is not provided in VAERS. We estimated the incidence of AKI to be 0.006%

FWIW many patients also developed kidney disease after Covid

They also develop LADA after Covid

As well as after vaccination but all of the associatedpapers are case reports, i.e. single patients.

People also developed multiple autoimmune diseases after Covid

And after vaccine

But all I've found is either case reports (on individual patients) or compliations of case reports, incidence unknown.

Who was the other friend? I don't recall what you posted.

I don't know this guy, although I've heard of his worsening problems over the last few years.

The first was a friend of ours from grade school who was a year older than us and lived right across the street from another old friend of ours. Totally healthy husband and father of 2 children died of a heart attack at 43 years old a couple of years back now. I hadn't seen the dude since maybe 8th grade, but my buddy and him were still close.

SIX, you don't know their medical history. You weren't aware, for example, that your friend's dad - the one that helped you with your house - was as sick was he was. Same with your grandma. Heck, same with YOU! And these were people you saw often, and were close to. (Or, in your case, very close to, every waking minute.)

I met a woman the other day while walking, haven't seen her in years. She gave me the quick up-and-down glance and said "You're looking well!". I guess she didn't notice the missing boobs, thinning hair, and watery eyes?

So, aside from word of mouth...these people that you haven't seen in years or ... ever... do you really know what happened? Did they get Covid before getting the vaccine? Did they get Covid afterwards? Did they really getva vaccine? Did they have an underlying condition? What did they really die of?

Your opinion that the Covid vaccine kills, but "nobody ever died of Covid" ... well, that's pretty loony.

That opinion, as far as I can tell, is driven by the fact that YOU HATE BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO. And the more "they" pull authority to try a MAKE you do something... especially from pretended (or even actual) superior knowledge ... the more you resist, until you've driven yourself beyond the edge of reality. That's being reactive, not smart.

****

When someone's oppositional trait* is in the driver's seat is when they get in trouble. I used to coach people for interviews, and there was one woman ... very bright, but very, very oppositional. Didn't even want wear something besides jeans for interview. I used to tell her that the interviewers weren't looking for brilliant originality when they asked standard technical questions. They had a checklist of expected answers which showed that the interviewee had sufficient technical, managerial, and regulatory knowledge, and people skills, to be promoted. And as often as I told her, she kept insisting on giving her interesting but irrelevant answers. And she kept being so disappointed when she didn't make it near the top of the eligible list. I felt so badly for her, but I couldn't convince her to do any different.

*Or ANY strong emotion or compulsion

The "vax" was ANYTHING BUT A VACCINATION.

It did not prevent one single person from getting Covid.

But it sure helped spread it to everyone who didn't get vaccinated real quick.

You were all willingly poisoned, and you poisoned me.

You're speaking from unfathomable ignorance about viruses SIX.

The Covid virus needs five different proteins to reproduce. The spike protein is only one. The shot contained RNA to prompt cells to produce ONLY the spike protein. If anyone is "shedding" anything, it is ONLY the spike protein, which can't reproduce in your body. And in the minute, NON-INFECTIOUS quantities that somebody MIGHT be shedding, it is highly unlikely that anyone would experience even the smallest effects from someone elsr.

So let me repeat myself:

YOU CAN'T CATCH COVID FROM A VACCINATED PERSON UNLESS THEY HAVE COVID.
IF YOU GOT COVID, IT'S BY THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY: YOU WERE EXPOSED TO THE VIRUS.

So, as it turns out, the spike protein was THE symptom -producing protein. If they had picked any one of the other proteins ... nucleocapsid, envelope etc ... to "prime" the immune system, it might have been less effective but have fewer side effects. And the shot definitely has side effects, and it DOESN'T prevent transmission. That's why I NEVER agreed with mandatory shots. It was always about protecting yourself, and required an evaluation of relative risk: THE RISK OF DOING SOMETHING V THE RISK OF DOING NOTHING. And it is different for everyone.

You should watch the videos by Chris Martensen from that time. He's something of a gold bug and prepper, pro-Trump. But he is ALSO a PhD in pathology and provided a series of videos explaining Covid, how it works, how it was so very different than other Covid viruses of its lineage, and why it was likely created in a lab. He came to that literally within a few months of the beginning of our epidemic.

Anyway, he created a primer about how this virus works, and a view of how viruses work in general. Very informative.
