Male and Female bodies were made entirely different.
Nah ... you can't say that. Men and women are basiclly the same. You COULD say that we are entirely different if women looked like... say, horses ... and men looked like starfish. But we basically share the same anatomy ... bilaterally symmetric hairless apes wuth heads, lungs, livers, gall bladders, etc mostly in the same place and doing basically the same things. Men and women are "variations on a theme". The differences between us aren't universal - there are many women who are taller and stronger and smarter than many men, for example. But when you're talking about the top 1% (or fewer), the bell curve gets pretty thin, and there are fewer examples of overlap.
Bodies aren't "made", they evolve. In many species, the female is larger than the male. It all has to do with the reproductive strategy of that particular species. (Thousands of offspring with no parental attention? Fewer, carfully nurtured offspring? Many females to one male, with the male taking no part in raising the young?) It's a fascinating topic. Anyway, humans are more like many birds: offspring are so demadning that it takes two adults to raise young to their age of reproduction, which means that humans and (most) birds aren't "harem" species. It's a fascinating topic that has to do with energy transfer to the next generation. Humans are aberrant when it comes to apes and even to most other mammals because our young are so helpless for such a prolonger period of time. In no other species (that I know of) do the young have to be hand carried for a year.
It's not 1% or fewer where the differences lie.
If that were the case, there would just be sports and not boys/girls; men's/women's sports.
If you took any random group of 500 men and 500 women and compared the physical strength of the first to the last from the most impressive specimen to the least, you're not going to find too many females stronger than males all the way down the list.
This isn't a shortcoming of women. This is how our species was designed.
If almost any woman wants to be strong, she's going to have to work very hard to get there. And if you put her up against a male who put in as much time building strength, she's never going to compete.

Very appropriate last name, idiot.
Get a real job.

It's hard to eyeball, but by height it looks appx 30pct overlap. By strength, there is less overlap bc many men have more muscle mass than many women, even if equal height. But in my prime I could have beat appx 10 pct of men that I knew/ worked with.
Here there is considerable overlap between men and women. I think I've mentioned b4 that avg IQ is about the same, but males are both stupider and smarter, so this is truly a case of comparing the top 1pct.
. Men and w,omen aren't TOTALLY different. Mostly the same, but with variations on a theme.

Regarding muscles, saying females have less muscle mass is generally accurate, but can be confusing particularly when used as a supporting or causal factor in another statement.
Excluding males who are Juice Monkeys, musclebound bodybuilders, bulk workout gymrats (the peak competitors mentioned in this thread are working out for strength & endurance rather than bulk); if a female and a male can move the same weight, for example in Bench Press, the male will have bulkier pecs than the female. The female will have more compact, or more toned muscle in that group - and IIRC less mass as well.
So if a male and female are the same size, and perhaps same weight, then the female will normally have greater raw strength.
Regarding psychometry, I recall a variation between genders in terms of "left brain" and "right brain" measurements and SDs. Or perhaps expressed as "science IQ" (masculine tending) vs. "arts IQ" (feminine, including gays). But this could be old data, perhaps no longer applicable in females achieving majority in the last 15 years. Females had been found to subvert their science/math talents during puberty to emulate their role models - who were women Public School Teachers who knew nothing of math and science.

Could be true. I remember watching a video about a 12-y/o girl who could press a phenomenal amount. And yet, she looked like ... a skinny 12-y/o girl.
AFA left-brain/right-brain, it's true that I worked with a self-selected population, but I was, and knew, a helluva lot of very mechanically-minded women in the lab.
There was one instrument that just wasn't working right, and staff just wasn't "getting it", so one Saturday when I had to be in the lab to accompany one of the chemists who was running an emergency sample, I went in with my schematics and tools and tore the whole thing apart, changed out all of the plumbing and mode of detection (from a TCD to a Ni reducer/FID) and had the whole thing up and singing in six hours. I regularly modified instruments and whipped together/ validated new methods. (I think that's why I was so good at evaluating data; I knew all the pitfalls.)
Was a pretty decent programmer too... the only thing that defeated my programming was my shitty memory: I had a terrible time remembering all of the commands and conventions (use a semi-colon, not a comma! Or was that the other way around?) If it hadn't been for that, I might have programmed instead. (I sucked at learning German and French, too. Languages ... not my thing.)
There were women there, and men, who were even better than I was. And there were women, and men, who were much worse. Had nothing to do with age, either. There were older people who were very sharp to contemplate new ideas, and young people who were pretty stick-in-the-mud.
Just as an aside, the WORST people, on average, were people who had Master's degrees. They were very book-bound and tied to received wisdom, but didn't seem to have an exploratory frame of mind.

We're not arguing here.
I didn't say that ALL men were stronger than ALL women.
I've personally never met one who was stronger than I am, but I did spend 4 years in my twenties power lifting and eating 7,000 calories a day until I was a 5' 7" dude who weighted 220 lbs and had to walk sideways through doorways. I've lost a lot of that muscle mass in 20 years, but I still greatly benefit from that work all these years later. (And obviously, that being said, though there haven't been any stronger than me, there have been many women in my life who were taller than I am. And I did lose a lot of my speed from my youth when I did the power lifting, so add that to my old age and bad decisions and I'm sure there are plenty of women I've known who could beat me in any race that's longer than about 20 meters).
But I still would never get in the ring with even the worst MMA fighter who would wipe the floor with my ass. Even though she's the worst performer there, she still trains regularly, benefits from years of developing fighting skills that I don't possess, is probably 20 years younger than I am, and almost certainly doesn't smoke or have a 5 year period of getting blackout drunk every other day in her past.
And in the case of the WNBA you could just ignore physicality altogether because of my extreme height disadvantage, coupled with the fact that I've never even played the game on a team and have any skills. I'm a good shot when just shooting around, but I'd have that ball slammed right back in my face any time I shot since I'm not skilled at moving the ball around and making openings for myself. I think getting on the court against WNBA players would end up being far more embarrassing than getting my face stomped in MMA would be.
Your graph is saying what I said.
If you took the top performing male and female specimens and went all the way down the 3.5 Billion line and compared the next two on repeat all the way down to the most pathetic male and female specimens on the planet, the man is always going to be physically more capable than the woman.

I was thinking Language was the opposite side of the brain from math/science.
Which is why I was so surprised that I scored so high on Aptitude for Language. And the test was administered next to the airport with massive aircraft taking off - and it was July/August in San Diego, so of course the windows were open. Kinda glad that aptitude didn't derail my career trajectory. Maybe that was why the Officers tried so hard to lure me to OCS/NAPS.
