6ix, your kind of thinking means not letting American soldiers back into America because you can't know which soldiers were driven insane while in Afghanistan and will become killers of Americans once the soldiers return. Better to be safe than sorry you let soldiers return from Afghanistan.

Back to Afghanistan ... one news source had a rather long story about how China excoriated Blinken for the mess that is Afghanistan, and made a point of saying to the effect - you'll get no cooperation from us unless you join in an international effort to make things right. Or, as I read it - we're at economic war if you expect China to pick up your Afghanistan tab.
That wasn't widely reported in the m$m.
China's actions vis-à-vis the US will be an important topic to follow.
