Gee... I wonder why we haven't been able to make them reusable.
That's the cost just for monitoring and delivery. That does not include basal insulin, bolus insulin, alcohol wipes, the finger prick tester and testing strips in case of emergency, or any glucose tabs or shitty candy you need to have on hand in case you go too low.
If I could buy this shit directly from China, it wouldn't cost me more than $500 for an entire year.
