The 167-day mission was the longest for a crew capsule launching from the U.S. The previous record of 84 days was set by NASA's final Skylab station astronauts in 1974.Saturday night's undocking left seven people at the space station, four of whom arrived a week ago via SpaceX."Earthbound!" NASA astronaut Victor Glover, the capsule's pilot, tweeted after departing the station.
SpaceX began supply runs in 2012 and, last May, launched its first crew, ending NASA's reliance on Russia for astronaut transport.

China, Zhurong on course for historic journey. If the Chinese Rover touches down safely on the red planet and works as planned, the Tianwen 1 rover will be the sixth such vehicle deployed on Mars, following five predecessors launched by the United States.
If the semi-autonomous craft functions efficiently, it will work for at least three months and undertake comprehensive surveys of the planet.
The rover, recently named Zhurong after an ancient god of fire, is 1.85 meters high and weighs about 240 kilograms.

The rocket, a Long March 5b, just launched the first piece of a new space station China is building.

The cast of Saturday Night Live has been offered a Safe Space in case the appearance of Elon Musk as host is too Triggering for them.
Musk should just buy SNL, load them all into a SpaceX rocket with a cardboard sign over the SpaceX logo that says "Safe Space", à la Wile E. Coyote, and they could be the first manned crew to land on the surface of the sun.
They'll never have to worry about being triggered again, and it will be the funniest episode SNL has had in 2 decades.

Researchers studying photos from NASA's Curiosity rover on Mars speculate that strange "puffball-like" rocks on the red planet might actually be fungi.
The objects in question seem to change shape and move over time, the researchers said in "Fungi on Mars? Evidence of Growth and Behavior From Sequential Images," and they grow in tracks left behind by the Curiosity rover.

That idea sounds stupid to Americans who only think of the future in 4 year blocks.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Government doesn't do anything which doesn't strategically fit into their 200 year plan.
