Chappelle shared that for many working-class Americans struggling to make ends meet, Trump’s “honesty” in revealing that the rich and powerful have been taking full advantage of a system designed for their benefit only enhanced his stature.
Now, we can debate all day why people really “love” Trump. Is it his “owning the libs”? But there’s no disputing that in polls, Trump was far and away the top choice of Republicans to be their 2024 presidential nominee. A New York Times/Siena College poll found in mid-October that 49% of Republican voters favored Trump as the party’s 2024 presidential nominee.

Ryan O’Toole, former aide to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), said GOP Rep. Mo Brooks was “cheering” as the Jan. 6th mob attacked, even as many of his colleagues fled in fear.
Brooks denied that, but his loyalty won him Trump’s endorsement for the U.S. Senate seat from Alabama.
Brooks is now urging the party to abandon the ex-president.

Dave Chapelle is funny, he has intelligence and has good craft as a comedian, I never truly understood how he was a muzzie though but maybe that was another time before the truck bombings of 1993 and the War on Terror after 911.
