On Wednesday, a group of 30 Democrats wrote a letter to the leader of the Capitol Police and the acting sergeants-at-arms in both chambers, urging investigations into "suspicious behavior and access" facilitated by some GOP lawmakers on Jan. 5, the day before the attack on the Capitol.
The Democrats said either they or their aides had witnessed "an extremely high number of outside groups in the complex" on Jan. 5, some of them reappearing during the march on the Capitol the following day.
"Members of the group that attacked the Capitol seemed to have an unusually detailed knowledge of the layout of the Capitol Complex," the Democrats wrote. "The presence of these groups within the Capitol Complex was indeed suspicious.
"Given the events of January 6, the ties between these groups inside the Capitol Complex and the attacks on the Capitol need to be investigated."

BuzzFeed interviewed 66-year-old Roxana Lawson who didn't attend the rally in Washington on Jan. 6 but is just as certain as Lynnet that it was all "a set-up so they can use it to pull the impeachment BS."
"I think they were Antifa and Black Lives Matter members dressed as Trump supporters, the ones that created the chaos," she said of the largely white crowd who came armed to the Capitol.
Law enforcement has already tracked well-known white supremacists and Trump allies who appeared at pro-Trump events all over the country before going to the Capitol. So, if they were faking it on Jan. 6 they've been faking it for several years.

FROM lawmaker to law breaker: Derrick Evans, forced to resign from West Virginia’s House of Delegates after he stormed the Capitol with other insurrectionists, has been exposed as an anti-abortion fanatic who regularly harassed women outside WV’s Women’s Health Centre, the only abortion clinic left in the state.
Evans now knows how it feels to be stalked. The Christian imbecile, who resigned just weeks after he was sworn into office, is being besieged by camera crews and is skulking behind closed doors at his home, refusing interviews.
All we need to know about Evans is contained in this sentence:
I am pro God, pro life, pro 2nd Amendment, and I am going to fight for Christian values!
His Christian “values,” according to The Independent, made him “a fixture” at the clinic for much of 2019, with a reputation for harassment so severe that the clinic erected a ten-foot fence to deter him.
When Evans was around – often accompanied by dozens of supporters – women would cry in the waiting room, said clinic patient Hunter Crites, afraid they’d be identified and screamed at as soon as they stepped outside.
One woman who worked at the clinic and was cruelly targeted by Evans is Jamie Miller, above, who said in an interview with UK news outlet ITV that:
He found out my name, he found out my children’s names, they followed me in cars, they posted pictures of me on various sites … it terrified me.
Miller was compelled to get a restraining order against him.
When Evans, wearing a helmet, breached the Capitol, the despicable zealot told the viewers of his live stream that he had been pepper-sprayed in the eye, but was marching forward anyway.
“We’re in!” he shouted on his Facebook Live as he walked into the Rotunda of the revered building. “Derrick Evans is in the Capitol! Let’s go!”
His Facebook page has now been deactivated.
Many of the women who had been the subject of Evans’s harassment were not surprised to see him join the Washington DC mob who had been incited by Trump. For almost two years, staff and volunteers at the clinic urged police officers and legislators to take Evans’s behaviour seriously, said Miller, Instead, he was voted into elected office.
Miller said:
I have been screaming about him for two years, trying to stop it, and nobody listened to me. Nobody.

In the two weeks after Fox News called the election for Biden, Fox News cast doubt on the results of the election at least 774 times. According to NPR, Fox Business host Lou Dobbs said Trump’s opponents in the government were guilty of “treason” and that it would be “criminal” for Republicans to recognize Biden’s victory. Fox News host Mark Levin told viewers: “If we don’t fight on Jan. 6 on the floor of the Senate and the House — and that is the joint meeting of Congress on these electors — then we are done.”
Cable companies aren’t going to boot off Fox News. Contracts alone would prevent them from doing so. But there’s another way: boycotts. Target one big advertiser on Fox and leave the rest alone for now. This is what the UAW does: they negotiate with one car company, which sets a pattern for their contracts with everyone else. And they don’t pick their victim randomly. They pick the company that seems most vulnerable to a strike threat.
Which company advertising on Fox would that be? Ideally, a company that (a) can’t afford to be associated even slightly with unAmerican activity, and (b) is not in the greatest financial shape. General Motors. Allstate. Applebees. Any one of those might be a good target.
Some Super PAC with a lot of money ought to pick one of these corporations as a target and go after them to stop buying ads on Fox. It can hardly do any harm, can it? One way or another, we need to make Fox News into a pariah.

In speeches before the Capitol Riot, Steve Bannon evoked the beaches of Normandy. Michael Flynn drew comparisons to Civil War battlefields and spoke of Americans who died for their country. Roger Stone called it a struggle "between the godly and the godless, between good and evil." Rudy Giuliani called for "trial by combat." Ali Alexander said it would be a "knife fight."
While a lot of attention has been paid to the President's words, there's been less focus on the fiery rhetoric of his most high-profile supporters, supporters who Trump could have told, since he was there at the speeches, to shut up rather than whip up an angry mob.
Trump and his most visible allies bear a great deal of responsibility for stoking the flames that led to the January 6 uprising.

Otero County, N.M., Commissioner Couy Griffin was arrested Sunday for illegally entering the Capitol on Jan. 6. Griffin, the head of a group called Cowboys for Trump, claims he got caught up with the crowd and didn’t actually enter the building, but the affidavit says video on his personal Facebook page showed him in restricted areas.
Griffin also pledged to return to Washington with guns for President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration Wednesday, and he alluded to the prospect of violence and another incursion into the offices of lawmakers. According to the affidavit, he said in a video posted after the Jan. 6 riot:
“… We could have a 2nd Amendment rally on those same steps that we had that rally yesterday. You know, and if we do, then it’s gonna be a sad day, because there’s gonna be blood running out of that building. But at the end of the day, you mark my word, we will plant our flag on the desk of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Donald J. Trump if it boils down to it.”
