Biden* stoking war with Russia.
After sending arch-neocon Victoria "fuck the EU" Nuland to Moscow to sabotage any possibility of talks with Russia, Lloyd Austin is promising support for Georgia's and Ukraine's inclusion in NATO.
Russia has already declared these to be "red lines" many times over, most recently from Dmitri Peskov, who said that inclusion of these two nations into NATO would be responded to with "active measures" [war]

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin met with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv on Tuesday, a day after visiting Georgia. The trip is part of Washington’s plans to increase support for the two countries that both share a border with Russia.
Ahead of the trip, Pentagon officials told The Washington Times that Austin would stress that there is an “open door to NATO” for Ukraine and Georgia. Russia has previously said that Ukraine joining NATO would be a “red line,” something Austin addressed Tuesday.
“No third country has a veto over NATO’s membership decisions. Ukraine, as you heard me say earlier, has a right to decide its own future foreign policy and we expect that they will be able to do that without any outside interference,” he said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is eager to join NATO, but the US says Ukraine must make some “reforms” before joining the alliance. “The United States remains committed to helping Ukraine implement these reforms through a robust advisory effort,” Austin said.
In 2008, NATO officials agreed that Ukraine could eventually be a member of the alliance. But those plans were shelved when Viktor Yanukovych became Ukraine’s president in 2010. But since Yanukovych was ousted by a US-backed coup in 2014, Ukraine has moved much closer to NATO’s orbit.
Georgia was also promised a NATO membership in 2008. In Georgia on Monday, Austin discussed the “reforms” the country was making for the potential membership. “Georgia continues to make progress in terms of military reform and capabilities,” he said. “Our embassy noted some problems with the recent elections, but we also expressed confidence in Georgia’s ability to improve as time goes forward.”
Austin and his Georgian counterpart signed an agreement extending US military support to Georgia for another six years. With respect to Georgia and Ukraine, Austin slammed Russia and vowed to support the “sovereignty” of each nation.

The neocons, who have appeared to have taken over Biden* foreign policy, appear to believe that Russia will back down (it won't). BUT. Accession into NATO is a multi-year process. At what point Russia will react is uncertain, but in this case Russia seems to hold all the cards, because it has the full panoply of energy, transportation, economic, and military leverage at its disposal, while Ukraine and Georgia are far away from US borders and supply lines. If this heats up, most likely Russia will shut off gas and oil supplies to its enemies, while the USA will probably kick Russia out of SWIFT, which (I believe) is the whole goal of this theater anyway.

At the same time, USA neocons appear intent on provoking China over Taiwan, boosting Taiwan's presence in the USA from a cultural representative to that of a consulate, creating the AUKUS agreement, The Quad, and expressing full support for Taiwan's independence.
Militarily, the USA would lose in the western Pacific. But the goal of THIS provocation may, again, to cut China from SWIFT...altho that would lead to a trade clusterfuck across the globe that would be infinitely worse than our current supply chain problems. Not just here, but in the EU (our allies) as well.
I think that the neocons are looking at China's belt-and-road (BRI) initiative progress and realizing that China is moving rapidly from it's dependence on the west for trade, and thin

There haven't been any deaths, period, but that's not the point. There surely have been cases. And the fact that they're going against what every lying media outlet in the rest of the world is lying about and saying that nobody is dying all of the sudden, that means that Emperor Xi is calling the shots in the media in Taiwan.

SO, I still can't figure out why the Biden* administration is trying to provoke war with both Russia AND China by opening the NATO door to Georgia and Ukraine (in the west) and promising to defend Taiwan (in the east).
It seems to me that if outright war developed between the USA and either Russia or China, the USA would lose, and definitely if the USA tried to take both on at the same time.
The USA is at least five years behind Russia in "hypersonic" technology (Russia has their hypersonic missiles deployed, the USA is testing various aspects of hypersonic technology right now).
This isn't just a recent move to distract from the Afghanistan debacle, because the USA has been trying to use Ukraine, Georgia, and Taiwan as cat's paws since at least May, secretly (and not so secretly) promising support if any of those nations would take on their relevant neighbor superpowers.
I guess first of all, those small nations would have to be insane to take that on militarily. THEY would be obliterated while the USA would basically still be safe, risking only those forces that our military chooses to commit. There's no way the USA could provide an umbrella to keep those nations safe.
So, more than likely, those small nations' first moves would be political, not military: declare independence, or begin the process of joining NATO. Since those are "red lines" for Russia and China, would their move be military? Because, again, those small nations would be obliterated. Of course, "world reaction" would be strongly against a superpower that destroyed a nation for its politics. Russia would be kicked out from SWIFT. China, too, might be kicked out from SWIFT, unable to spend its trillion dollars of Treasuries and USD.
So Russia and China might, instead, try something different:
Russia might take the coasts of Ukraine and Georgia and embargo those nations, shutting off gas, energy, and food supplies and all trade, China might do the same to Taiwan.
