Biden is A problem, but he's not THE problem.
The Democrats put a lot of their cards on the table in 2020. Things that most people already knew about them before, but they didn't just come right out and admit until now.
They're racist, and they just expect everybody who is not white to vote for them... especially blacks. And it's not only demented dipshits like Biden that come out and say that if they don't vote for him they "ain't black". Celebrities online are coming out of the woodwork trying to shame anybody not white for not being Democrats.
Tom Arnold's best buddy Snoop Dogg had this gem a few weeks back:
They're appealing to the loudest voices that are the furthest to the left. They're pretending that they believe that black lives matter by supporting a group that calls themselves Black Lives Matter, but then they're defunding police all over the country in the most violence prone areas and we're watching murders and gun violence double and even triple in those communities. They're pretending that they're anti fascist by supporting a group that calls themselves Antifa who harass, bully and beat people down unless they think exactly the way that they are "supposed" to.
#WalkAway is a VERY real thing, and whoever's sockuppet Marcos belongs to will tell you that the movement is debunked.
Blacks, Latinos, Gays, Trans people and others are all walking away.
Not everybody in those communities, of course, but not an insignificant amount either.
I truly want a good Democrat party. After having voted for GWB in 2000, I deeply regretted that and I leaned to the left for quite a long time afterward.
I don't care if you don't like Trump, but I feel that he has fixed a large part of the Republican party and how awful they were when the NeoCons were running the show. That's what irritates me so much about people like Ted posting Lincoln Project videos and praising warmongering goons like John McCain and John Bolton and even George freakin W just because they don't like Trump.
I used to argue along side these people. I used to think that we were on the same page.
The Democrats need some deep reform. Biden isn't that guy. But to be fair to him there was nobody on that debate stage that was right for the job.

I've mentioned that one of my best friends was a brilliant, well-educated Pakistani woman physicist. Yet despite many shared personal experiences, she would say things that surprised me, because her fundamental assumptions were so different from mine.
You passively watch other people. Their communication to you is narrowly channeled. You don't try to communicate WITH them (even if you could). Or go off-topic. You haven't been to their environment. You don't know their background. You're ignorant of their basic assumptions. And yet you feel-like you know them. All because the (one-way) communication is so facile. It makes you believe you have something in common with them, and erases any gaps.
