It does make sense that in the process of singing there would be more droplets naturally being projected.
Had front row seats for a play in NYC a while ago, and with the stage lights and the mostly black backdrop, it was almost alarming how much spray the actors were projecting when delivering their lines.

At 14:44 is an interesting video of the aerosols that come out of your mouth when talking. Not singing, not shouting, not sneezing or coughing, just talking. This reminds me of what I hear many years ago ... like the "Pigpen" character in Charlie Brown, we all walk around in our own cloud, even tho we can't see it. We're shedding all the time ... dander, dust, aerosols ... viruses ...
Also, in here, starting around 13:10 he gets really snarky about WHO claiming that SARS-2 isn't "airborne", which I really appreciate, when every study done so far has found that it is.
If you choose to listen to the whole video, just be aware that he tends to be an alarmist, and makes good money doing that. While I dispute some of his facts, IIRC in this video I pretty much agreed with everything.
