We'll know it didn't go your way when you never bring it up again after it dies and falls out of the news cycle, which is about 99% of your thread here so far.
Worst case scenario for American Citizens out of this specific case is that it doesn't go the right way and then it gets appealed to a court where it will be set right. Just like 99% of your thread here so far.

SIX, I appreciated what you said. I do come here for some conversation. And I will admit when I come into the political threads it is usually to read, but all the tension between Canada and the US has had me speaking out. My home this is, this continent. The tension is why I posted "elbows up" in tag. Just showing my perspective on things. And every so often when I post a thread that I think is interesting or funny. I am just looking for as I said a little conversation.
I do try to treat everyone as an individual here as I do in the real world. People tell me that I do succeed out there and I hope to some degree I do here.
My dad, my uncles and my aunts and of course my grandmother all looked Indian. Trust me when I say there was no mistaking who was walking towards you when you saw my dad.
With his brown skin, black eyes and black hair. I and my cousins, though my brother has slightly darker skin than I do, don't look that Indian. It's there but you have to know what to look for in our faces.
And on a final note. I thought at some point I asked you and THG, not to drag me into your squabbles. I mean I know I am the lone Canadian here but I don't feel like playing peace keeper.

I haven't been much of a conversationalist for a while, and can't really promise that I'll continue to be one either. I'll try to be better though. I practically stopped posting in the RWED because Second keeps a ledger of everything I post in there and when we're having an argument in another thread he'll quote and put the exact link to a post I made 3 weeks ago that's completely unrelated to the topic at hand and take something I said there completely out of context and say something shitty to me.
Most of what I'm doing with them is just trolling. They get all nutty over every headline that comes out every day. Sky is falling for a different reason 5 days a week and usually calms down over the weekend until it picks right back up again. I just get more angry about it than I should.
I ain't worried about anything right now any more than I always worry about things.
We all just gotta chill and take a step back from all of this and behave more like you do.

I understand SIX, which is why the laughing emoji. I was making reference to Canadian peacekeepers that have operated around the world is all. Saw no reason to get bent out of shape.
I try to ignore that because I know what is happening with the trolling.
That's okay. I just miss it is all. Not many people in RL that I can have a proper conversation with. Even the ladies that I play mah jong with get bent out of shape over my frustration with the game or I correct their history. So on Thursday and the occasional Wednesday it is basically shut up and play.
I hear ya on the lot of stuff on your plate. I know all about that stuff. You get one thing sorted out which leads to another thing needing sorted out. Never ending.
I had to take a step back from your Federal election last November as we had a kerffule with ours in BC. As it is either the Bloc or the Conservatives are questioning 3 ridings in Quebec and even if the votes are changed slightly, it isn't going to make much of a difference. Liberals still won. So, I am trying to untangle myself from the Canadian federal election and I think I have succeeded. Not sure though.
