According to a flight manifest filed by Epstein’s pilot David Rodgers on August 6, 2002, the Bell helicopter (N474AW) flew from Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico to the Double Eagle II airport outside of Albuquerque.

Complicating matters, is the fact that a Cessna Model P210N aircraft also uses tail number N474AW. That aircraft, according to FAA records, was registered with the tail number N474AW on August 1, 2014 and is owned by Centurion Aviation LLC, 677 Greentree Lane, Ada, Michigan.

If I understand your tail number posts correctly, it goes like this:

1997-2010
There was one plane, registered with the State Dept, Patrick AFB, FL. A Rockwell OV-10D Bronco twin turboprop with a distinct "stirrup" tail structure, normally used as a light combat and observation plane. This plane was found to be in Bosnia 2000-2002 used by DynaCorp (which IIRC was a subsidiary of Halliburton), and Dynacorp was revealed to have been buying and selling young girls at its operations. The plane next comes into view as having crashed in Colombia in 2006 during "antidrug" operations. The plane was officially deregistered in 2010.

2002
During this time period, a Bell Helicopter with the same tail number was manifested as having flown from Epstein's Zorro Ranch in NMto Double Eagle.

2014 A Cessna P210N was registerd with the same tail number is August of that year.

Now, I don't know if the FAA "recycles" its tail numbers, or permanently retires them once a plane is deregistered, but given the small number of characters in the tail number format, my guess is that they recycle them. So the Cessna is probably not at all connected with any of this other stuff, and it just a legitimate registration with a number that has an unfortunate history.

The fact that Epstein helicopter used a tail number in 2002 that was already in use (in Bosian at the time) is a little hard to explain. I understand "switching plates", but why use a plate from an aircraft that was already implicated in one crime (in Bosnia) for (potentially) the commission of another crime? Instead of hiding the identity of the aircraft with the duplicate tail number, haven't you just created a link bewteen criminal operators?

In any case, I'd be interested in knowing why it took so long to deregister that number (2010) when the aircraft supposedly crashed in 2006. Bureaucratic intertia? Something else? Would be interesting to know if that number was used any time between 2006 and 2010.

The only reason this is all going down now is because either he's no longer necessary, or they're sacrificing him to get to a bigger fish. If that fish is Trump, who knows who else they're going to be willing to throw under the bus by the time this is done.

My thoughts:

I think Acosta got 'the word' many years ago to go lightly on Epstein, and he was being a good soldier now by resigning.

The biggest logic gap for me in the sequence of events is why Epstein got away with it for so long. It's not as if he was some unknown, isolated figure with few associates operating in complete obscurity. Epstein was a high profile, high level, well connected, international figure.

And many countries and states (like NY) could have gone after Epstein. After all he was located in Florida, in NY and in the (US) Virgin Islands; the girls were from all over the planet; and so were Epstein's 'guests', like Prince Andrew. It wasn't ALL up to the Feds/Florida and ONLY the Feds/Florida; and nobody else.

The fact that he was untouched for so long by literally every other legal system on this entire planet speaks volumes to me. If not Mossad, then there is some other quasi/international involvement and agreement to keep dirty laundry hidden.

I forget who suggested his business was extortion, but I agree. But I've also heard the theory (and it makes sense to me) that the Bohemian Grove, Epstein's island, and similar places are places by design where politicians and leaders are compromised, to yoke them to the will of others. Call it extortion with a power payoff.

I have little hope that anybody involved will see justice from this. All the machinery will be hidden, the protected will still be protected ... but the targets will be hung from the yardarm as examples of awful individuals, individually-acting on their individual perversions, absent a larger scheme.
