Democrats are no better than Republicans when it comes to protecting our manufacturing capacity. They'll sell us down the river just as fast as the GOP. The "regrets" that come afterwards don't stop them from doing the same thing, or worse, even faster and harder in the future. Obama not only wants the TPP, he want to abrogate Congress' negotiating authority by trying for a "fast track" around Congress.

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan is seeking to acquire long-range, air-launched cruise missiles from the United States, a defense official said on Monday, as the Chinese-claimed island bolsters its forces in the face of increasing pressure from Beijing.
While Taiwan is developing its own long-range missiles, to give it an ability to strike back deep into China in the event of war, it has also looked to the United States to help provide it more advanced weaponry.

BEIJING (Reuters) - The European Union called out China on Saturday for endangering peace in the South China Sea and urged all parties to abide by a 2016 tribunal ruling which rejected most of China's claim to sovereignty in the sea, but which Beijing has rejected.
The EU last week released a new policy aimed at stepping up its influence in the Indo-Pacific region to counter China's rising power.
