This week, Fillion made a mysterious announcement on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, alluding to a major announcement regarding the future of Uncharted.

The actor posted a photo of popular rapper/singer Drake, alluding to the last name of the video game character. Along with the image, Fillion shared the message, "Sic Parvis Magna. 7/16/18."

That's what I'm thinking. It would be nice to see him in a decent movie...don't know why they only give him TV parts. Prolly can't do action stuff anymore, but he's got the depth to do dark.

IMDb lists Uncharted as having Nathan Drake played by Tom Holland.

But has 4 links from the past hour showing Fillion cast as Drake.

Not sure if they are separate entries, considering the trivia about Sony wanting to reschedule it years ago.

I'm guessing they think they can get younger crowd by doing an origin story. Still, it's good for a fan film. Nathan looking good. You know on someone that tall that takes serious work.

I totally get a National Treasure vibe, but with shipwrecks...That'd be cool. Why has this taken so long??

It is separate entry.
To find the correct one, go through Nathan's filmography link, or costar Mircea, who he reunites with from Drive.

And the thread title just got changed.

I'm a big fan of the games and I really liked Nathan's fanfilm. But I really have no interest in the upcoming movie. It's not even because of Holland, I think he did a great job with Spiderman.
