lol

You're full of shit.

If you feel guilty about all that fake money you're not being taxed on, go buy a house for one of Biden*'s sandpeople terrorists he's looking to make sure get treated better than actual homeless citizens.

Homeless people are a state and local government problem while refugees are a Federal government problem, which is why there is a BIG difference in treatment.

By the way, I really did look at my tax returns. Effective Tax Rate was 13.14% in 2018. With inspiration from Trump, each year I pay a lower percent than the previous year. If Trump can pay zero, my goal should be zero tax. Biden paid 25.92% for 2020 ($157,414/$607,316)

Biden Should Ignore the Debt Limit

Senator Marco Rubio of Florida tweeted: “The $3.5 trillion Biden plan isn’t socialism, it’s Marxism.”

Indeed, we all remember the stirring passage in The Communist Manifesto where Marx declared, “Workers of the world, unite to spend 1.2 percent of G.D.P. on popular programs over the next decade!”

Mitch McConnell declared, “There is no chance Republicans will help lift Democrats’ credit limit so they can immediately steamroller through a socialist binge that will hurt families and help China.” If that sounds to you like meaningless word salad, that’s because it is.

The fact that Republicans routinely say such nonsense is why the Biden administration could simply declare that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which says that the validity of federal debt may not be questioned, renders the debt ceiling moot.

Of course, if the Biden administration does do something unusual to avoid a debt crisis, Republicans will run blistering ads denouncing the action. But they’ll do that anyway! Which is where Marco Rubio comes in. He used to be considered a moderate; now he denounces a medium-size investment plan that appears to be highly popular as the second coming of Stalin. The Republican faux-outrage dial is already turned up to 11; how much worse can it get?

So go ahead, Democrats, and do whatever it takes to get through this. Gimmickry in the defense of sanity — and, in an important sense, democracy — is no vice.

For FY 2019, the number of admitted refugees matched the annual ceiling, both at 30,000. The annual ceiling set for FY 2020 was 18,000. The original ceiling set for FY 2021 was 15,000, the lowest level on record, but was increased to 62,500 on May 3, 2021. Fiscal year covers data from October 1 through September 30.

What the hell is that post trying to accomplish here?

Do you think I couldn't find 100 things the Federal government allows right now that you aren't just as adamantly against?

From Republicans: "They should let no refugees in because then everyone will be in."

From Democrats: "62,500 refugees last year, 125,000 this year."

Can you see the difference between Democrats' and Republicans' thinking? I doubt you can because no Republicans I know understand (although forcefully claiming they do, when you test their understanding they flunk yet continue to shout, scream and deny they flunked) but the difference makes all the difference in the world.

One thing I am adamantly against is the 3% increase (after adjusting for inflation) to defense spending. Congress votes for the increase because the money gets spent in their states but it has a side effect of placing weapons and ammo in the control of liars called affectionately The Troops, who kill civilians because The Troops don't give a damn about winning wars. The Troops are just there for the money and retirement after 20 years of work. The Troops' true motivations (not the patriotic catchphrases) for being in the military explain why The Troops keep losing war after war. If The Troops got punished for killing civilians, but they don't, they would deserve their 3% yearly increase (after adjusting for inflation). The Troops might even win a war once in awhile, but since The Troops would revolt if they were punished and Congress refuses to take responsibility for declaring War, rather than let the Pentagon decide and the President agree with Pentagon's decisions, The Troops won't be winning future Wars.

There is no difference. They're two sides of the same coin.

The difference here is that I call out Republican bullshit all the time, while you think that Democrats are great.

You're a hypocrite and a liar.

I seldom see any Democrats act the way Republicans constantly, endlessly, falsely accuse them of acting, but nearly all Republicans do act that way. I haven't bothered to run experiments but I suspect there is a psychological basis for people voting twice for Trump because telltale signs of twice Trumpers' confused mental processes keep uncontrollably leaping out of their mouths at mildly stressful moments. Outside of politics, their runaway mouths and emotions get the twice Trumpers into trouble.
