Not the proper function of govt !! Sorry, it just isn't ! Obama's actions are 100% political in nature, and science is nothing but a gorram means to an end.

Right, and it's at the expense of the country and world. History shows science is behind all the gains in knowledge and advancements of man. Even science of the mind or human condition has propelled us forward. Those advancements allow us to understand the psychological makeup of the science deniers. They are intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others and are stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas based in science. And as we see with some here, even science established, and came into existence due to research and fact.
