Solace, 16 December. Looks like a great cast. I'm in.

Julieta, 21 December. The synopsis seems meaningless. But looks like Pedro's normal showcase for hot babes - is this the prime reason for watching it?

I don't think I've seen any of these.
I've known my local theater sucks, but this is nuts. I gotta get crackin'.
I'm glad I found this post, as a reminder.
Finally found Solace, after searching 4 Redboxes. The DVD includes the Trailer, which I have never seen before.

Some films it reminded me of are

Arrival, Suspect Zero, Silence of the Lambs, and discussions here about River Tam's abilities.
I can say that the Hopkins character has no love lost for shrinks, so partnering up with a pretentious one who thinks he is a charlatan provides some nifty friction.
For various reasons, not all scenes are shown in linear chronology.
I'm not sure about the dates. The film seems to have been done in 2014, Reviewed on TV in 2015, with The Martian.
Apparently was originally a sequel to Se7en, but reworked into this. I actually liked it better than Se7en. Instead of the annoying character from Freeman, the less annoying character here is the Cornish role.
