Post after post after post - doing nothing but calling Signy and myself names no matter what the topic. No wonder THETHREESTOOGES fall into the category of trolls.
Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!

Once she started speaking she looked more "together" but I noticed they hustled her offstage pretty quickly. I think it was physical pain or perhaps extreme lack of sleep.

If Ukraine had any concerns over Savchenko's condition, it hasn't turned up on a google search. So much for that canard.
OTOH since the Russians returned in the swap were unnamed, it's hard to look up their condition.

You guys are two funny. Look at the title of the thread. I see the two of you trying to walk it back but you always attack anything that is a perceived threat to Putin. Sorry it isn't going to cut it.

Yikes.
This thread seems a minefield.
Was she a military pilot?
If so, why is she not wearing a Uniform? It would seem tacky to thrust her in front of cameras without her normal uniform.

She was an army aviation (primarily support) helicopter pilot for Ukraine. Somehow, in 2014 she was captured by separatists who then handed her over to Russia. As best I can tell, she achieved fame by going on a hunger strike (or perhaps a few) during the nearly 2 years she was a prisoner.
In 2014 she was voted into Ukraine's Rada (parliament) as a member of the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland" or Batkivschina party while still a prisoner. She formally resigned her army post at that time.

Note, that was my first guess

On drugs?
One could be on drugs for very legitimate reasons. Like pain.

Spastic?
I don't mean that as an insult. Spasticity is a diagnosis- uncontrolled muscle tension. I noticed the strange posturing. It looked like she was trying to relieve a muscle cramp. Or two, Or three.

Crazy?
Maybe that too?

Some combination?
Yep, or some combination. Drugs for pain can make you temporarily crazy. So can drugs for spasticity. So can drugs to keep you awake or on your feet. Or some combination.

No it isn't. And that's about as realistic as you thinking that I'm some sort of "comrade", and that you're a comrade too.

The reason why I thought she was on drugs - aka medications - is because she didn't seem to have the presence of mind to be socially appropriate. She glowered at the audience and at times at Poroshenko. She leaned back and stared at the ceiling. She looked around. She shifted. Sometimes she clenched and unclenched her hands. She acted as if no one could see her. What she was doing was uncensored. And, her breathing was badly timed with her speech - she seemed to run out of air at times. Her movements were large, loopy, and sloppy. But mostly, she couldn't manage a socially appropriate demeanor for a short, laudatory ceremony. I think you have to be pretty out of it to be like that.

Give it up troll. The title of the thread says it all. You were attacking the women.
Explain this, how could you even think that a pilot could be spastic? No, it was an attack.
