I was wondering if anyone had a theroy of who Book really is? I've been thinking that maybe he has something to do with the BLUESUN? It may expain his treatment on Safe. It could also explain how a shepard knows so much crime/guns/ect
and supply him with cash money to travel the 'verse.
I am also wondering about what he wants with River, maybe it's just me but Book seems to have a strong interest in what was done to her. (War stories) Maybe he was sent to gaurd River from the Hands of Blue, or study her... I don't think he wants to harm her because in Jaynestown he vollenteers to wacth her and could have very easily got her off planet before anyone came back. (Wash had left the ship as had Cappy, Jayne, Kaylee and Simon) He could take out Zoe if he gets her by surprise or could have just left in a shuttle since Zoe can't fly Serenity, and Inarra was gone...

My personal theory, full of vagueness and ambiguity (somewhat like our Book), is that he was a bad guy (), went to prison (or volunatrily stayed at the monastary to atone), and is now trying to be a good guy ().

And that, my friends, is, unfortunately, where it stands until April 22, 2005.
