The way this one wrapped up made me think Slaughter could be a spin off. But now without Beckett next season, maybe Slaughter cold be a partner with Castle. Or, wasn't Summer a detective of sorts? She could be a partner with Castle. If Beckett is killed off, Slaughter might get promoted to squad Captain.

One can hope.
