An updated version of the Official Firefly Website is now online. Whether this is (or isn't) the final version, as was previously announced, to coincide with the Firefly premiere remains to be seen.

Go and check it here:

Actually, I think that the official site is actually the best official site for a tv show that I have ever personally witnessed. It's got lots of neat stuff, and contrary to what some have posted, Kelly's weblogs have a lot of charm. Now the question remains: what ever happened with that monkey?

I'm with LivingImpaired here - they've got lots of great content, what lets it down is the way it's presented.

Oh and "download Flash it's what Joss would want you to do" ? Yeah right!

What I particularly dislike are all those silly flash animations. Much too Startrekky, despite all the Kanji.

The basic structure of the site is unchanged. You all know what I think about that.

In all the dust, it's easy to miss the new set of cast interviews. Worth watching, despite some fairly lame questions. My favorite moment is when Adam Baldwin "introduces" Jayne's weapons, much as Jack O'Toole (from "The Zeppo") might. Come to think of it, Jayne and O'Toole are rather similar characters, though Jayne doesn't take himself quite so seriously!

No, "clueless" means that you can't stand to reveal that you're a newbie by asking questions!

The official site doesn't have any sort of login. What do you mean by "I can't see anything"? No pictures, nothing?

EDITED TO ADD: Just looked at the main page and it's rendered totally with Flash! Which means you can't see anything (as you said) if you don't have the flash plugin. You can download that here:

ion=ShockwaveFlash&P5_Language=English

Alternately, you can bypass the entry page, since it's the only page you need Flash to view. You won't be able to see the silly Star Trek Goes East animations, which I'm sure would be a great tragedy.
