In August, 2007, it was reported he had suffered a stroke, but the following December he announced that he had been diagnosed with a very rare form of early-onset Alzheimer's disease which, he said, "lay behind this year's phantom stroke". Not a direct connection. I came here looking for Firefly. SpaceAngl (or SpaceAnjl) had posted a crossover fanfic here called "Feegles on a Firefly." Extremely funny! I ran feegles down, found that Sir Terry had created them, chased down every word of his I could find.
