Warmer today…but all the schools are closed.
So strange…no snow..just the 'threat'…but they
close all the schools. Wish they did it that way
when I was growing up in Western NY…a foot of
snow..no big deal…get to school!! Heh.

Okay…we got probably 4 to 6 inches of snow…nothing at all if you grew up in Buffalo, NY and spent most of your life in Denver, CO….but for southern TN it's a DISASTER OF EPIC PROPORTIONS.
Passed lots of people in ditches yesterday…and many trying to speed up some hills…doesn't work in ice. Lucky I had the skills to get home safe and sound…got plenty in the pantry so we won't starve…beer tap is full, too!!

Hope you all have warm coats as this storm continues to mess with life. We've still got about 4 inches of the white stuff…under which is ice…here in TN so the going is gonna be nasty. I'm pretty certain they'll cancel school for tomorrow…but us ink-stained wretches will have to get to work somehow….

Not a bad deal.
It's warm and raining and all traces of snow are gone….I currently have seven dogs in my house so staying home will be a very good thing to keep an eye on these maniacs.
