Did I ever mention I hitchhiked through Tennessee with my dog around 1980? Yep, from New York through Tennessee Kentucky and so on. Beautiful state Tennessee.

Hey, THG!! We weren't here in 1980...but I'd like to think if I saw a woman and a dog hitchhiking, I would have stopped and given you both a ride! It is a beautiful state...damn hot and humid in July, though....hoping for some cooler weather in August! Stay safe and well!

I’ve been complaining about how hot and humid it’s been the past few weeks, but this weekend I’m back in Florida and apparently I’ve forgotten what hot and humid really means. I’ll stop complaining about TN’s version now.

Not a woman sister. Some did give me rides though. They said to have such a beautiful dog I must be a good person.
