Just spotted this on the BBC:
"Avengers director Joss Whedon has surprised fans by releasing his latest film online at the same time as it premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival."
(Nb. No, its not "Avengers 2" - looks like its another "busman's holiday" for Joss)

JUst heard about this on PBS this morning-- was gonna post it here. He released it direct to internet distribution. Like SISTER said, just pay $ 5 to rent it & view.
