Hello
Long time member of other fandoms (X-Files, Harry Potter, BtVS, Glee...yeah, I know, I know...one of these things is not like the other...), and I remember when Firefly first aired and was thoroughly confused, watched the pilot when I joined Netflix, but it didn't really connect with me for some odd reason. It finally connected with me after I saw it again a couple of weeks ago and I have a new obsession. I'm SO sad that there's no more of it, but glad it looks like the fans are still here.

Yep, we're still hanging...There's only been a couple shows I've liked since, and they were all one season jobs too, and not half as interesting...
So where else would we go?

Sooo, a few days of man flu, filled mostly by finally taking Netflix up on it's suggestion that I may enjoy a certain show, which I heard of but had never gotten around to watching. Turned out to be the best thing I've seen in, well, quite a long time!
Of course, the film had to follow, and no sooner had the end credits started to roll than Netflix suggested I also watch a certain documentary. And thus, I learned of things brown, and coat-like, and a fanbase quite unlike anything I'd ever seen before.
I have to confess to never having been involved in any real kind of "fandom" before but considering how short-lived the TV series was, and all that was achieved afterwards, my curiousity was piqued and I decided it was worth investigating a little further - and in short, I wound up here. So, er, hi...!
