Hello All,
I have been told that i'm going to be a rescue Worker. i tried on my costume yesterday at my fitting. Man that was cool... I am now waiting to be called on Thursday for information on where to go for fridays filming. I do hope that they will need me for additional days, but i am so lucky already that i dont want to be greedy. I'm hoping that they will just go through all the available extras and only use Browncoats!!!!

I will be on location away from the universal lot. But hitting that Red button would of been really cool. Can you imagine how cool walking ( or even seeing) that ship would be?

Congrats to you Spikeandjezebel! Break a leg and get some pics if you can so we can see how everyone looks.

Congratulations to both of you!
So. . . A merchant and a rescue worker, potentially involved in the same scene. . . rumours of Reavers hitting a town. . .

That's what the banner should have said:
"Joss, hit the Red Button and call us all back."
The quotes they actually used were great, though.

Wow that was really cool!!! i just got back from my fitting. I will try to share this without giving away too much information. It is a fine line where i can share what i experienced without saying anything i shouldnt... So here goes.
I drove down to the san fernando valley at about 1:30pm from where i live. It is about a 30 minute drive, but the last thing i wanted was to get stuck in our lovely LA traffic and be late. Well i got there right about 2pm. I pulled into the parking lot and the first thing I see on a door is a handwritten sign that says SERENITY OFFICE and a arrow pointing towards the back. Oddly that right there was pretty neat to see. So I pull into a slot and thought, well I can sit here for 30 minutes, or i can go in and see if they need me now. I walked into the office and asked to speak to Dana. She approached the counter and i introduced myself and explained why I was a little early, and that I would be more than happy to hang out in my car until 2:30pm.
She would have none of that and was actually waiting for me. I followed here around a corner which opened into a huge
warehouse that had tons of costumes on racks. As i followed her I noticed that we were following a path that was created by direction arrows on the ground. It curved around into a corner of the warehouse where i was to change into my costume. She left me and I changed into a really cool costume. She came back and got me and asked me to follow her outside. Once outside she asked me to hold a sign that had my name on it. She took a close up picture of my face, then of my whole body, and then lastly a side shot. She then asked me to go back into the dressing area and change back into my clothes. She didnt follow me back i simply followed the arrows (I guess that is excatly why they were there) I didnt hurry. it was just so interesting passing Hawiian shirts and western type of clothes...:)
Once i changed back into my clothes i approached the front of the store again and she had me fill out some paperwork that looked like a time sheet, or release of libilty stuff. She left while i filled that out and came back shorthly later with my costume and put it on a rack next to me. Above the rack was a sign that said a local Dry Cleaners name. I finished filling out the paperwork and turned to hand it to her but she was gone. So i politely stayed put and waited for her to return. As I was waiting i couldnt help but look at my Costume again hanging on that rack. Not three costumes down was a Heavy Brown Duster jacket!!!! I wonder whos that was!!!
Well i think that is all unfortunately i can say. OOOHHHHH there was so much more, but i'm positive they would pretty unhappy with me if i shared. Once I pried my eyes away from that jacket I noticed Dana was just sitting at a desk not far away. So i approached her to verify I filled out the information correctly, and she looked up from a picture of Kaylee she was working on ( pretty cool) she looked it over and gave me my copy and thanked me for my time.
I floated back to my car and somehow drove 30 minutes back in my hazey state. It was too cool. Now i am waiting until tomorrow when Sasha will call me again and give me the details on where the filming will be on Friday.
I will update again...
Still flying....

Hey guys,
I called the number last night for the details on where the filming will be today, and it said my call time was 1:30PM. kinda bummed becasue all the other extras needed to be there at 7am. Oh well. It is 10:30am now and I figure i should be fashionably early...:) so i figure i would get there around 12:45. The location is literally 2 miles from my house. So I went and purchased a diposible camera that lets you have a CD made from your pictures. Thsi way I can send you any pictures (non-spoilerish) to you guys. I couldnt help it, I drove towards the location this morning coming back from my camera purchase. It was way cool seeing the yellow Serenity signs directing people to the shoot. One of these might accidentally dissapear...:) I took a picture of the Serenity sign that is in front of the private road that leads off from the main road. I hope they me have a picture in my costume, and i would be unbeleivable if i could have some with the cast ( which I so hope is there today )
I also purchased a awesome Hand drawn portrait of the crew at the LA comic-con ( they were sold out so i bet alot of you which one i'm talking about)I had Joss sign it when I was there, so I'm thinking of bringing it and see if i can get the others signatures.
Ok guys, I have no idea how long this will take today (hopefully until 4am) but I will try to remember as much as I can and report to you guys as soon as I can.
I truly wish you were all there with me, because i know you all understand how exciting this opportunity is.
Still Flying..
Bob
This was the last message left yesterday morning.

Heh... I'd now say that after the time we all spent together on the set of Serenity today Bob, that you most assuredly are among the "flying!"
On behalf of the entire cast and crew of Serenity; may I offer you our humble thanks for your participation and patience during this, our seventh, day of filming.
We hope that you had fun and will soon enjoy the show (BDM)!
Serenity always,
A.B. et al
p.s. Btw, purple is not your color. ;- )
Adam left this for TheDuke333 early this morning. TheDuke hasn't read it yet.
