I can't disagree there. But being the Doctor takes up a bit of time, and it'd cast you as being a specific character. The upside is that it'd be steady work, which I know actors really like, and he'd be a lot more recognized. I'd like to think that Mark was a candidate, but maybe turned it down ? I dunno.
