At the end of the article is says Joss has announced the name of the Avengers 2 movie... Also, the description of the movie they are talking about sounds a wee bit FF, and is directed by the guy who directed Slither, which Nathan was in (Wishi puts her fingers in a temple pose and ponders, hmmmm.)

The head of Marvel said it's not based on the Age of Ultron comic. They just borrowed the name.

I'm more curious why they'd do Ultron before Ant Man. Maybe this will be sort of an Ant Man origin story as well.

So the hints of Thanos (cameo at the end of Avengers & the Infinity Gauntlet in Thor) won't bear fruit in the next movie? Hmmm.......

Still, I trust Joss so I will be interested to see where this goes.

Avengers Meets Firefly,(Mal takes Black Widow out ona date with a real man and turns Captain America into Captain Independent and they go get into bar fights together while they just aim the reavers at whatever hord of evil gets pointed this way and they run whimpering for their mamas? Jayne and Thor take over Asgard, Book and Fury both get purple lightsabers and go looking for the new balance in the force when all the while it was Zoe and Wash's baby and River finally starts her own Riverdance franchise because she's a reader and she know what show you want to watch...and Simon and Kaylee start a very successful company that patches ships and bullet holes out on the rim... The Hulk fixes whatevers up with Inara and she becomes the Hottest President EVER with the slogan "Everyone needs to get laid NOW"

Yeah, I'm bored....

Naked Gun Avengers 2 and a 1/2? Ooooh, I'd go see that one, wink...

No no I think it's still about Ultron but just not based on the Age of Ultron comic. I'm pretty sure that's viewed as like an alternate reality. I'm not a big comic reader, but I think that one is not viewed as canon.

Joss can slay enemies by the thousands and still get a PG rating for Age of Ultron since robots don't bleed. The Phantom Menace killed thousands of droids and got a PG, while Avengers was PG-13 since that enemy was alive.

I've heard that PG can make more money than PG-13 because 'younglings' add to the pool of possible customers. Revenge of the Sith was PG-13 because Skywalker was slaughtering children, which makes actual children pee on the theater seats. Very little profit in that.

In the Ultimates Universe, Ultron is an entire series of robots, with the personality being a corrupted Jarvis. Im betting they utilize that origin to an extent, at least. Im also thinking he'll be a SHIELD project gone wrong, given that the secret weapon program subplot from Avengers is central to Cap 2, and they've said Cap 2 leads most directly to Avengers 2.
