Thank you, Magons and especially Pizmo, for THINKING about what you were hearing and realizing some realities. She sounds hysterical to me, too, and that short clip means nothing without more context. How much she may well have been badgered I can only imagine, and "everything you said" about the current state of our "newstainment".

And yes, again, you are attempting to point out realities and humanity to voices which recognize neither and would have difficulty recognizing grays, IF THEY EVEN WANTED TO SEE THEM. I appreciated your posts, for putting up what needed saying, but I recognize the futility of attempting to get through to them.

I heard that uncle being interviewed when it first happened, on the radio driving up North to run my dogs early in the morning. The reporters kept repeaeting over and over and over "How do you feel about America?" again and again until he answered the question--interrupting his answers to other questions and other questions being posed, they just kept repeating it. We all know how they work; "If it bleeds, it leads" was always true, but nowadays it's gotten so far beyond anything we would have called "news" years ago that it's pathetic. They get what they want, even if they don't have to fake it like FauxNews does with outdated clips; they push and push and edit to get exactly what they want. They compete these days with fake "reality TV", Maury Povich, etc., etc., and that's what it is: competition for attention.

This woman's been through hell...Americans who are harrassed like this by the media aren't prepared for it, I can't imagine how it comes across to someone in a country where being interviewed by a reporter is an extremely rare situation; there's no way I'm going to judge her beyond the recognition that she sounds like someone who's hysterical and been pushed...a lot.

Some people need to hate, even if it's the innocent mother of two crazies who's had many reactions by now, been through incredible emotional turmoil; but by gawd, let her speak out in anger on one two-minute edit of a phone call, despite quite possibly having wept, grieved, mourned, felt ashamed of her children, and who knows what ELSE previously, and hey, ho, she's the enemy, KILL HER!

It's also amusing that they're quick to condemn her for saying she thinks the bombing was fake, when the extremists on their "side" have been saying somewhat the same thing...go far enough in one direction, you find yourself coming around full circle, but they'll never recognize THAT, either. Thank you for your posts, but attempting to communicate with people who are blinded by hate? Not gonna happen.

Generally speaking, when the mother of a mass killer speaks, it's to offer sympathy for those lives lost and or horribly affected by such a heinous and violent act.

Or they generally say nothing at all, being too stunned at the horrific acts that their own offspring hath wrought onto unsuspecting innocent men, women and children.

This whack job bitch... ? No sympathy for her, at all. Pretty amazing.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen
