Hello all ....

Ok, I am glad I was not the only one that found this series to be so GREAT! To be honest I had never even heard about Firefly till I stumbled across it (DVD's) at a local store. By the 2nd episode I was hooked. Why in the HECK didn't this catch on? This is one of the best series I have ever seen. Everything is so real. With the different than norm camera angles to everyone just seeming to gel very quickly on the set. I thought they picked a great cast. River at first got on my nerves, but then as the series went on you see how she fits in. I was dissappointed to learn at the end of watching this series that it was canceled. I have NEVER posted to a fan site like this before, but I just am amazed that this was canceled. Ya know, unless I am mistaken, Star Trek did not start off with a bang either and was canceled, then re-introduced only to be a huge hit. Next to SG-1 (which I love for some reason) this is my favorite series! uuuuuugh .... and then it's gone! Well, hope the movie comes out and is a hit so I can get the trilogy! LOL

Anyway ... nice to see so many thought the show was great and GOT what Joss was trying to do! Can't we just all pitch in and FUND this thing for at least a 2 year run? LOL

Welcome to the site Raiderz! Glad to have you with us. There sure seem to be a steady influx of new Browncoats, which only goes to show how many people there are out there w/ taste in quality shows.

Now get out there and convert as many of your friends, family and neighbors as you can get to watch your DVD set.

And don't forget the movie starts filming on Tuesday, June 1st according to Adam Baldwin, so tell all your converts about the movie coming out in 2005.
