i've decided to answer all the questions everyone asked when i wasn't here to answer them in this fabulous thread. (and of course this is not a blatant attempt at self-promotion. me? never!) 
i did receive my big box in the mail, thank you everyone, 5,000 stamps could not have been cheap. who knew jayne's bunk could fit in a box? 
good present. (said in the fashion of "good bible" or "good myth")
as of 1:32 this afternoon, i am 20, and therefore not old enough to legally obtain alcohol. legally
i was working today and then went to dinner with my family, which could have gone better. nothing says family like dysfunction...but mine don't throw shoes...well, only that once.
in response to singing and physical abuse regarding my age (spanking, pinching and/or punching), i will pretend to be shy...but, as gunhand said, shy doesn't seem to be in my repitoire (or spelling that word.)
thanks for the wishes and compliments, as now i feel i must eat my words about being shy. 
for my next birthday, i want wile coyote for my bodyguard.
and mom, of course i wasn't drinking ton...to....before...you know, that one time.

Mom! What are you doing in the attic?? It's too hot to be up there.
