Yeah well 'exciting' and 'Soviet' rarely went hand in hand, ever see some of those hairstyles and clothes? Not to mention the mustard colored apartment buildings...

around playing art critic till I get pinched by
the Man, how's about we move away from this
eerie-ass piece of work and get on with our
increasingly eerie-ass day, how's that?"

It's okay, I actually have a soft spot in my heart for the Soviets. Some days I wake up and just miss the Cold War completely.
I mean without the Cold War there wouldn't be a Dr. Strangelove and that movie is art, art I say!!

i'm a child of a wall-less era, so please forgive my ignorance.
when i was a freshman, i debated (yeah, go ahead, insert your "master debater" joke here) about russia and it was often said that many of them didn't have the money for bread or toilet paper. granted the soviets and russia are not really the same thing, and this of course may be an exaggeration (as debaters tend to do), but it evoked feelings of sympathy in me.
yeah, i know...me? feelings? odd....maybe that last birthday shot wasn't a good idea, as its no longer my birthday....

Boy we really can take a topic and just send it out to far left field can't we?

my favorite is when we hijack an unsuspecting new poster's thread.
