That's not fighting dirty, that's fighting smart. Lining up on a field is the dumb way to fight. I was raised in a very pro guerilla warfare household, attack when they're not ready, attack when _you decide to attack, not when they want you to, use your terrain and your knowledge of it against them. If you're invading and not defending, make sure to understand their terrain better than they think you will. And always kill their leader as soon as you can.
Byte, there's a book that I loved in my girlhood called "The King's Swift Rider" about this time period, takes place after Wallace's death. Lots of fun to read, about the Bruce's young spy Martin (a novel). My favorite novel about that time period.

That wasn't at all a negative endorsement of fighting dirty under the standards of any period of time. Trickery and deception was how scotsmen won most of their fights.

I knew you didn't mean it as a bad thing Byte, you're too smart to have meant that. I'm just saying that fighting dirty = fighting logical.
The few times I've tried online dating (the only way I can seem to get dates) I've stopped writing to men who can't write a decent letter and use lots of LOLs for no apparent reason, I don't have time for that sort of incompetance.
