Showcase is the originator of Lost Girl, now showing on Syfy, and the detective series King. It's sort of the FX or TNT of Canadian programmers.

Yeah, that was kinda cool. I like the GitS sensibilities of the cyborg cop (implanted cybercoms, thermoptic camo, cyberbrain recording-and-uploading --the adaptive clothing is a new [but imminently practical] twist, though). I really hope she tells her new partner the truth before too long; her cover is going to fall apart the moment anyone investigates it, and there'll be fewer recriminations if she's open about it to someone on the inside.

Though it kinda sucks that

they apparently killed Tony Amendola's character (if they killed him. I don't trust the guy who announced it [and immediately became the new boss], and I don't trust off-camera deaths in general).
