I just thought about Lorne some more. now that I've voted for him.
is he supposed to be gay? maybe I'm not even his type. he seems to flirt an awful lot with the guys, doesn't he? hmm, now I have to watch him more closely. he is a cute green demon, but if he's gay...
ahhh it's always the best ones you can't have.

Are you treating Fred and Illyria as the same person? Personally I see them as different people which is why I voted for Illyria. I don't dislike Fred, but she's never really interested me. If they are treated as one person then can I change my vote?

They are treated as one, because people have voted for "Fred," "Illyria," "Fred/Illyria," and "Fred as Illyria" and I have no idea how to count them if I don't count them together.
Under the rules as established by Elwoodmom, there is no vote changing. I can barely keep track of everyone voting once. Sorry.

Sorry to be awkward but, if I can't change my vote then I have to argue my point cos that's the way I am

Fred and Illyria (Ilyria?) are different people:
Fred is a irritating, giggling, flappity girl who gets on my nerves.
Illyria is an ancient demon who I find distinct and interesting. It is fascinating to watch her trying to adjust and cope with her new world. Even the body movements, such as the head twitching, are wonderfully done. Although Illyria took over Freds body she has made it hers with the blueness and the outfit she grew.
Being in the UK I am behind with your episodes (please don't give any details away) but even if it turns out they both inhabit the body they are still different people.
The fact that they are played by the same actress shouldn't mean they are classed as the same person.
Anyone who has voted for both has had two votes and should be made to chose one or other.
Edit: or you could just let me change my vote to the prima ballerina played by Summer Glau

Your arguments have been read, and I appreciate them (though I don't agree with you, anymore than I consider Angel and Angelus to be two different people, as opposed to aspects of the same one. Illyria has Fred's memories, and is therefore a continuation of the same character). I cannot change the way I'm tallying this poll when it has seven hours to go (on the east coast of the USA, where I am).
Your vote stands as a vote for Fred/Illyria.

I've kind of picked up that vibe from Lorne, too. Might be the eyeliner. But he's adorable either way and deserved to get into the votes, so I think you chose wisely.

they were a great couple.
also, it really hit home a bit ago. i picked up the mail and there was next weeks tv guide. i always flip to wednesday at nine to see what they have to say about angel. my stomach flip when i saw the tv guide and realized nothing to look forward to next week. i'll have to watch firefly every night to get by.
so sad.
