Well its time for finals, term papers, thesis proposals and job hunting. So instead I made a firefly vid!

'Tash was nice enough to host it at
http://www.strangefinger.com/johnny-firefly.mpg

It was rather quickly thrown together and is fairly depressing so you have been warned.

DISCLAIMER: Any tying in of the song/theme/vid to current day events is not really coincidental but unintended. I merely wanted to make a vid from a civil war song and this was the best one I found. So please no flaming me for a non existant modern day political stance.

And once again thanks to Tash for hosting.

All I can say is...wow.

That song always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and with those scenes most definately.

Very nice work.

Very nicely done, TragicStory. I hope to see more Firefly vids from you. I am assuming this is your first one? Or are the others?

Can I ask who does that version of the song? I'd be interesting in hearing the whole thing.

And a thank you to 'Tash for hosting this so we can all enjoy it.

That song is always timely in some way or another, I am sure no political statement was meant.

May I ask where you found that song/who performed it? It's a little different from the usual interpretation, and I would like to find a copy of the music to enjoy.

Thanks for a good vid!

That was beautifully done, I hope you will do more!
We have a tragic shortage of Firefly videos...
and personally I am supporting all ships
and all POVs!

There is a scene where the snow appears to be falling against gravity.

All I can say is wow! This is definitely a great vid. One of the best and that is saying alot because there are a lot of good Firefy vids out there.

Simply amazing. Jos should hire you for something because you definitely have a goo sense of what you are doing.

Make another one.

LOL! You win the prize. When I first put that in there, there was a much harsher fade to black and Primere's preview screen was so small that I didn't really notice it. After I compiled it I did.

The "artsy" BS answer is: I inteneded it that way, they are natural snow flurries symbolically representing his soul assending to heaven now that he is home!

Nice catch!
