Of course, Iran's attorneys were never allowed in the courtroom to present a defense. Because that's how we roll in The Great Satan.

Russia has also promised to go to war with us if we attack Iran.

The US has permanently spent its credibility with the world by attacking Iraq. Now they will always consider that if we have a conflict with an enemy that we are the evil aggressor. They will be right, of course.

Yes. History has taught us that we should allow evil dictators and regimes to attack FIRST, and then respond.

Not only that, but thanks to our relentless "regimes changes" in the mideast, Syria only has to paint a popular movement as being aided and abetted by the USA (see Libya) in order to gain instant credibility and support.

Actually what DT said is that regardless of who attack us or why, we are the evil aggressor.

So, according to DT, if Adolph Hitler's even more evil clone attacks us from the secret Nazi moonbase a thousand years from now with the goal of eating children and forcing everyone to worship Satan its because we are the evil aggressor (assuming we fight back, because if DT has his way we will immediately surrender).

I agree. I actually agree with Auraptor's analysis of the statement as well. Yes, if you do not attack first, your position is defensible. If you do not respond, your position gets better. Israel has made three attempts to attack Iran and they have not responded. Good for them.

War should not be gone into lightly, and not preemptively. Another term for preemptive defense would be "starting a war."

ETA: Sig, I think that the Syrian rebels *are* CIA/JSOC and friends. I think Assad is right, socialist though he may be We actually have no business in Syria. We shouldn't be encouraging people to suicide against their govt. either. This war will probably happen, unlike Iran, because it's at least possible. The only thing delaying it is the US driving a wedge between Syria and Russia.

They don't need a giant owl to sacrifice children, they have the military.

Our brass has repeatedly said the footsoldier is obsolete, so why do they keep sending them in? Why did the brits order their men to marching into the German machine gunfire?
